This day is a reunion for Arunis of the past and a welcoming space for new Arunis to be. Whether you’re returning or arriving for the first time, you’re warmly invited.

We’ll explore the teachings of Aruna Yoga through creativity, the body, the breath, breathwork, and TRE—an embodied, nourishing day of practice and connection.

RESET RETREAT
A four-day immersive retreat at Beit Aruna, Herzliya.

An invitation to reset the nervous system, cultivate resilience, and receive the fundamental tools of Aruna Yoga and TRE for personal use—through movement, breathwork, tremor release, creativity, and art.

This retreat stands fully on its own and is also a prerequisite for Aruna Yoga Teacher Training.
Full attendance across all four days is required.

Revelations Within the Wave – Giloy HaGal
גִּלּוּי הַגַּל

This week’s focus is Giloy HaGal — the revelation within the wave.

The wave rises. The wave falls.
And within it… something is revealed.

For me, the practice begins in the creative process of art — allowing awareness to move through color, texture, and form.
Then it integrates into the body through Aruna Yoga and TRE — breath, tremor, sensation, presence.

This morning began beautifully — strength training with the amazing Shani — and flowed into my personal Aruna and TRE practice. Movement. Integration. Listening.

The revelations are subtle.
They live inside the waves of the body.
Inside sensation.
Inside breath.

This week’s art process is entitled Giloy HaGal—גילוי הגל—Revelation Within the Wave.

Both words share the same Hebrew root, pointing to a deeper truth: revelation is not separate from movement, change, or impermanence. It lives within the wave itself.

The gal is the wave—the rising and falling of the breath, the surge and softening of emotion, the appearing and dissolving of forms. Everything is in motion. Everything is transient. And within this movement, there is revelation.

Giloy HaGal invites us to recognize the intelligence within change—the way old forms dissolve, compost, and regenerate into new life. All of this unfolds within the vastness of emptiness, the greater field that holds every shape, every feeling, every cycle of becoming.

When we learn to move with the wave instead of resisting it, revelation becomes natural.
It is already here—arising and dissolving with every breath.

Some reflections from a retreat I was privileged to lead through AmalTikva, sharing Aruna Yoga and TRE with Israeli and Palestinian peacebuilders to foster resilience.

This retreat for ATLI alumni was a profound honour. Supporting those impacted by this ongoing conflict and witnessing their courage to keep showing up for peace moved me deeply. Through the body, we open pathways for release, grounding, and presence. Yoga and somatic work offer a wholly accessible way to process what is stuck and held in the body through sensation, breath, and nervous system restoration, while offering tools that can be woven into daily life to sustain resilience and support long after the retreat ends.

I returned hopeful and inspired, committed to bringing these tools more actively to those who need them most. Creating space for wellbeing, safety, and community for peacebuilders felt like sacred work. To offer a bridge through embodiment, emotional release, yoga and TRE is a privilege. I pray to be able to continue and expand exponentially.
