He has completed his MBBS and D. Ortho from very prestigious B. Medical College-Ahmedabad. After completing his training, he has worked at Government Spine Institute, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad. After that he went to Mumbai to pursue DNB in Orthopedics. He worked in Mumbai in K.J. Somaiya Medical College for 2 years. After completing DNB, Dr. Rohit Thaker went to Schon Klinik, Neustadt in Holstein in Germany for further training in Spine Deformity correction surgery and complicated spine surgeries. He expertise in Scoliosis, Kyphosis and complex spine deformity correction under guidance of world renowned Prof. Dr. Henry Halm. He also got training in Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery(MISS). Dr. Rohit Thaker also got specialized training in Cervical Spine Surgeries at Sapporo Orthopedic Hospital, Sapporo, Japan. He learned various cervical spine surgeries under guidance of Prof. Kuniyoshi Abumi, pioneer of cervical pedicle screw. During his stay in Japan, Dr. Rohit Thaker has learned about Cervical Laminoplasty, Cervical Pedicle Screw placement, CV Junction Surgery and many other complicated cervical spine surgery.
