Penne Arabbiatta

Love how the sauce turned out. We made it a bit hot leaving our lips a bit burnt from the chilly flakes.

Our first encounter with this pasta dish was in 2003 when Sandeep came from the US and cooked pasta for my girls. I remember buying pasta sauce at first and were lucky to find it in India. We enjoyed the this novel dish so much that it became a part of our favorites.

Now we make the sauce from scratch. Everything is homemade and I couldn't have been more prouder of my kids. I think we have come a long way. you should try our sauce! ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

Our Veg Biryani!

Dadpe Pohe is yet another family favorite but more than that it has this deep connection with my Father. He was extremely fond of them. On his birthday he would love it if we celebrated it with Dadpe Pohe. No extravagant demands or fancy food for him. Just a bowl of dadpe pohe and taak was enough to make him smile with a twinkle in his eyes. What is really very touching is that my daughters remember him every single time when I make it. Every damn time! I guess it's more than just dadpe pohe for us.
