Inauguration of Drugs Control Building( inside the Office Campus of the Joint Director Health Services) ,Trauma Emergency Unit at Haflong Civil Hospital(HCH)
Distribution of Mobile Phones to ASHAs & ASHA Supervisors(AS) formally done by Shri. Smauel Changsan Honorable EM, NCHAC Health Department in presence of, Sri Donpainon Thaosen Hon'ble EM, NCHAC Cum Chairman Hospital Managemnt Committee HCH, Smti. Rebecca Changsan Joint Secretary (Health) NCHAC, Dr. Sarsing Rongpi, Joint Director of Health Services, Dr. Kalpana Kemprai Superintendent Haflong Civil Hospital, Dr. Parakish*t Barman, Dy Superintent HCH, Smti. Rukmini Defoesa DPM, NHM, Officials & Staffs of HCH along with the DPMU staffs.
A program was held thereafter the inaugration ,where 33 ASHAs & AS were formally handed mobile handset by the distinguished diginateries and extorted the ASHAs & AS frontline field level workers for their services to the society, and added it (mobile phone) will help in enhancing their perfomance.

HRPW Training Day Second Batch.
Dr. Ninob Sr.M&HO, O&Q Haflong Civil Hospital along with DME, NHM conducted the training. Minute details was deliberated on management of High Risk Pregnant Women for the BCMs CHOs and ANMs. Which will enhance in managing HRPW while coming in contact with the same.
Hema Bhowmik, Zonal Program Officer, Kilkari &Mobile Academy gave an insight on the Kilkari plus program and its role in creating awareness among pregnant and lactating mothers followed by the role of BCMs, CHOs and ANMs in Listenership improvement and activation of Kilkari WhatsApp. Also, as per ANMs, language barrier and no network in most of the villages will be an issue even after awareness which should be looked upon.

One Orientation on DVDMS (Drugs and Vaccine Distribution Management System) for Pharmacist and Ward Incharge was held at Haflong Civil Hospital( HCH). The orientation was aimed to aware the process of online supply chain management process of medicines, surgical items, etc., in order to refrain from manual indent.
The online indenting through DVDMS has started at Haflong Civil Hospital.
The orientation program was done in presence of Dr. Kalpana Kempari Superintendent, HCH.

ASHA Convention held on 9th Feb’2026
AHSA Convention was organised at Haflng Civil Hospital, Haflong. The programme was graced by Shri. Debolal Garlosa honourable CEM,DHAC, Dima Hasao in presence Shri. Samuel Changsan honourable EM, NCHAC- Health Deptt. and other members of DHAC, along with Principal Secretary, NCHAC, Joint Secretary(Health) NCHAC and ADC(Health). As well as officials & staffs from Health Deptt. & general public.
Four Scooties were Awarded to the best ASHA serving in remote areas by Dima Hasao Autonomour Council (DHAC)- Furthermore, 18 No’s of ASHA’s were awarded Rs.1500/ one time for their perfomance during the FY 2025-26 by the District Healht Society.
Simultineously prize were distributed to the winners of “A Visit”- 7(seven)No’s to the best Sub Centres(SC)/HWC’s during the programme.
In continuation “One time Gratitude Benefits” Rs.Two Lakhs cheques were handed over to the retired ASHAs.
Inaugration of ten(10) New Cabins at Haflong Civil, Hospital, Haflong was done by Shri. Debolal Garlosa honorable CEM,DHAC, Dima Hasao during the programme.
