Here is some information to know about s*xually transmitted diseases
1. STDs are incredibly common: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), over 1 million s*xually transmitted infections (STIs) are acquired every day worldwide. That's an astounding number!
2. Some STDs are asymptomatic: Some people with STDs may not show any symptoms at all, which can make it challenging to diagnose and treat these infections.
3. STDs can have long-term consequences: If left untreated, some STDs can lead to serious health problems, such as infertility, chronic pain, and even death.
4. Some STDs can be transmitted even with condom use: While using condoms can reduce the risk of contracting an STD, some infections, such as herpes and HPV, can still be transmitted even with proper condom use.
5. STDs don't discriminate: Anyone who is s*xually active can contract an STD, regardless of their age, gender, or s*xual orientation.
6. There are many different types of STDs: STDs can be bacterial, viral, or parasitic in nature, and there are dozens of different types of infections that fall under the umbrella of "STDs."
7. There are effective treatments for many STDs: While some STDs are incurable, such as HIV, there are effective treatments available for many other types of infections, such as chlamydia and gonorrhea.
8. Prevention is key: The best way to avoid contracting an STD is to practice safe s*x, get tested regularly, and talk to your s*xual partners about their s*xual health history.
Overall, while STDs may not be the most glamorous topic, there is a lot of fascinating information to learn about these infections, and it's essential to be informed about how to protect yourself and others from contracting them.

🔸 By the end of the first trimester, the kidney start secreting urine.
Near term, the urine production rises to 650 mL/day. However, kidneys are not essential for survival of the fetus in utero but is maintaining the amniotic fluid(fluid around the baby)
