An old garage. No frills. No shortcuts.
Just a clear problem: There was no accessible, dedicated space for volunteering and inclusion.

Today, that space exists.
Karmasthan, a community space built for volunteering, inclusion, and dignity.

This transformation wouldn’t have happened without thoughtful CSR support from (Truminds Software Systems)

We thank the leadership and CSR team at Truminds for backing this with intent, not optics.

Not just funding.
But trust, clarity, and the willingness to support work that creates real access.

Because real CSR isn’t about fast paced ex*****on and photos on walls.
It’s about enabling spaces where:

* children with disabilities feel safe and seen
* volunteers are trained, not performative
* inclusion is practiced, not posted

Grateful to Truminds for standing by work that is long-term, unglamorous, and deeply necessary.

This is what responsible corporate citizenship looks like.

Deafcon was never meant to be just a concert. It was meant to bring mainstream attention to a simple truth: art and entertainment in India are still not designed with the Deaf community in mind.

With the very first edition of Deafcon being covered by Deccan Herald we feel encouraged that this conversation is finally finding space in the mainstream.

The Deaf community in India is large, independent, economically active, and has a lifestyle of its own. What’s missing is not interest, but access. The entertainment industry isn’t ignoring this audience intentionally — it often just doesn’t know how to make experiences accessible.

Deafcon was our way of showing that accessibility in art is possible, impactful, and long overdue. We hope this helps artists, organisers, and platforms see the Deaf community not as a niche, but as an audience worth designing for.

We want more eyes on the Deaf community of India.
This is only the beginning

2025. Wrapped. With Impact.

We didn’t start the year with resolutions.
We started it by volunteering.
Jan 1st. No excuses.

December 13th we are launching our new initiative called XP and the first program under that is a Sign Language First concert experience, exclusively for Deaf members.

This marks our re-entry into event based volunteering but limited only to our community volunteers as of now.

2026 we will open more experiences under XP for people to experience inclusion with dignity.

It's the season of Inclusive treks at our schools now.
Trek is an integral part of our social exposure curriculum, and it also helps in building life skills.
This year, we aim to take all 33 schools on a trek, and our volunteers are taking up the responsibility of leading and fundraising for one trek each, so that this massive task gets split up and it becomes light.
