Magic of Bioenzyme Natural cleaner on copper, brass and bronze vessels. Will post a reel soon on this. I took a vessel full of my own home made bioenzyme and squeezed the peels to make it pulpy. Pulpy bioenzyme is stronger and can do deep clean. Diluted in a bucket of water and soaked many of the old brass and bronze vessels in it. You can see the SHINING results.

My dear friend Gayitri HN, a waste warrior, trustee of waste impact trust is ever enthusiastic about two things. Singing 60s melodies and talking about Garbage problems and solutions.
Why would any one have garbage on their dining table or T table. We do, waste management practioners to create awareness and talk about sustainability. Gayitri is learning to host an online program on google meet, hold camera and do a demo on Refuse, Reduce.
I never miss an opportunity to record song.

When many man of bollywood and allwood show chemical blue liquid cleaner being used to clean toilets, I thought I would show the Bioenzyme - Natural cleaner being used to clean bath room. I made bioenzyme using citrus fruit - grape fruit / chakkota ( you can make using lemon, orange or musambi). It smells fresh and great. I used it generously on the stone floor and side wall tiles. Left it for 20 mins and then scrubbed it.
There you go, Chamak Chamak and no harsh chemicals going out of my home for the last 4 years.

Clean up song / rhymes by the Best Brothers Sumadhwa and Sudhanva. Credit to the simple clean up song.
Credit once again to Chamak Challo song from Ra One and to the recording label.

Note: if you want to know how to motivate your husband to clean bath room and toilets, consult my wife for tips.

All those who eat at home should segregate their waste and compost. We have seen many couple arrive at the waste management stall and say that the spouse takes care of garbage at home. All those who eat and p**p should manage their own garbage. They should at least support the other family member who is trying to live sustainably. Age does not matter, old, young, children, grand parents, every one be part of the sustainable living journey. My waste is my responsibility.

It just take two minutes per day to be part of this journey. Think before you throw.

Integrating composting and growing works wonders for us. When I was composting at a small software company in Bengaluru, due to work priorities, I would delay harvesting compost. That would result in overloaded compost bin and fruit flies, maggots issues. When we added two more compost bins, it was a blessing. Volunteer and strong plants like tomato, amaranth, spinach would grow by themselves. This lead to "Plug in - Plug out composting and growing video" below.
Many of you may be already doing this. This is very similar to Jugaad composting and growing. The advantages are
1. No harvesting of compost
2. Constant supply of greens - leafy vegetables
3. Bury your kitchen waste with lots of your own compost

I have four raised beds made out of old sintex tanks. I bought them from kabadiwala as the old one cannot be used for water storage due to seepage. Cut them horizontally into two equal halves. They are excellent to grow leafy greens and vegetables.
Drill big holes in the bottom for water drainage.

We have seen gardening in raised beds demonstrated by my plant guru on the ground. Follow soil nutrition instructions provided by Meenakshi. These old water tanks are very durable.

After cutting horizontally, Use 250 ltr or 500 ltr for gardening. More than 500ltr old tanks, we use them for composting dry leaves, agro waste, gardening cuttings, kitchen waste.

Bring back the old practices, shun single use plastic crept into our life. Poly propelene tamboola bags or grocery bags do look like cloth bags. They don't have any stich, just pressed which you can identify.

Couple goals pictures particularly when one becomes an eco nut, family also follows. Two days ago, I turned 52 and realized that my gallery has only compost bin pictures and harvesting videos. Consulted my daughter to encourage the entire family to dress up click some couple goals as well as family goals pictures.

You must have noticed the hands adding kitchen waste into compost bins during demo and also in cooking videos. At times, it is my wife Lakshmi Badakere, many times my son Amogh, prearrangements for the demo by my daughter Namita and in many cooking videos, my mother in law Vishalu Beejady.

This photo and video shoot for an actual eco-nut couple goals video coming soon !!
