Global Mental Health Initiative e-Step towards reaching the un-reached through empowering community to early identification and deli

Mental, neurological, and substance use disorders are common in all regions of the world, affecting every community and age group across all income countries. While 14% of the global burden of disease is attributed to these disorders, most of the people affected - 75% in many low-income countries - do not have access to the treatment they need. Global Mental Health Initiative is aimed at improve the availability, accessibility and quality of Mental Health services globally – especially in low- and middle-income countries such as India through linking with organisations, individuals and academia in scaling up evidence based psycho-social interventions for people with mental illness though e-Mental Health platform.
