Two high-voltage days of music, dance, drama, art and gaming came alive at 𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬’ Cultural Fest ‘𝐙𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐄𝐊𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐕𝐀𝐌 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓’ recently, organised with 𝐓𝐲𝐫𝐨 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐂𝐄𝐓), 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲. The theme this year ‘𝐄𝐤𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐯𝐚𝐦: 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬’ lit up every corner of the campus with youthful passion, creativity and unstoppable energy.

From 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 and 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬 to 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐎𝐟𝐟, 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥, Fine Arts displays and the ever-vibrant informal pandal, every event pulled massive crowds. But the show that truly stole the spotlight was the 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐏 𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍, which was like the heartbeat of Zest.

Pulsating music. Dazzling lights. Flawless coordination. Performances ranged from Bollywood and Punjabi to fusion experiments that left the audience screaming for more. The ultimate crowd-crusher was the LED and neon light act, a glowing explosion of rhythm and visuals that turned the stage into pure magic.

In the end, Shri 𝐃𝐞𝐯 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢, Chairman, SRMS Trust, felicitated the top winners, wherein, 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝 (𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐂𝐄𝐓) stood 𝟏𝐬𝐭, 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐙𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐡 (𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐂𝐄𝐓)-𝟐𝐧𝐝 & 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥 (𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐈𝐁𝐒) grabbed 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 was clinched by 𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐚 & 𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 .

The event opened with lamp lighting by 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐃𝐞𝐯 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢 (Chairman, SRMS Trust), alongside 𝐄𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐡𝐫𝐚 (Trust Advisor), 𝐀𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐲𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢 (Director Administration), 𝐀𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥 (𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐝.) 𝐃𝐫 𝐌𝐒 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐚 (Principal), 𝐃𝐫 𝐑𝐏 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡 (Medical Superintendent), 𝐃𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 (Dean PG), 𝐃𝐫 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐠 (Dean UG), senior faculty, and department heads.

𝐃𝐫 𝐌𝐒 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐚 welcomed the new batch, reminding them that the white coat is “𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧”—a mark of responsibility, empathy, alertness, and integrity. He urged them to stay positive, care for their well-being, and work diligently through the five-year journey. 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐃𝐞𝐯 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢 shared a powerful message on punctuality and decision-making, noting that “𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.” He encouraged discipline, academic excellence, respect for seniors, and striving for SRMS merit-based scholarships. He also felicitated Talent Hunt winners and blessed all new white coat recipients. 𝐀𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐲𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢 welcomed students from over 12 states into the SRMS family, urging them to step out of comfort zones, work as a team, and always prioritize patient care.

After two vibrant days of music, dance, drama, fine arts and gaming, 𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬’ Cultural Fest ‘𝐙𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐄𝐊𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐕𝐀𝐌 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓’ concluded in style at 𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐂𝐄𝐓, 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲. Organized with the 𝐓𝐲𝐫𝐨 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛, the fest celebrated youthful passion, teamwork and cultural vibrancy under the theme 𝐄𝐤𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐯𝐚𝐦 – 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.

The Fine Arts Gallery, Creative Corners, Face Painting, Multiscene and Informal Pandal kept the campus buzzing till the finale.

The fest culminated with a 𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, where winners from all categories were honoured by 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐃𝐞𝐯 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢, Chairman SRMS Trust, in the presence of 𝐀𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐲𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢, Trust Secretary, dignitaries, faculty and alumni, applauding the outstanding talent and spirited participation that made 𝐙𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 unforgettable.

Music isn’t just heard… it’s felt. And this time SRMS College of Engineering Technology &
Research (CET&R) Bareilly made every heartbeat sway to the soulful rhythm of Indian
Classical Music, in collaboration with S**C MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian
Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth).

Students from all SRMS Institutions gathered under one roof to witness a breathtaking Vocal
Concert by legends of the Banaras Gharana including Vidushi Sunanda Sharma ji (a
renowned vocalist) with accompanists and instrumental maestros Pandit Sumit Mishra ji
(Harmonium) and Pandit Gopal Mishra ji (Tabla) along with Priyanka ji

From the purity of Raag Bhimpalasi (ranging from ‘Bada Khayal’ to ‘Chota Khayal’ followed by traditional ‘Dappa’) to the devotional warmth of “रंग डालूंगी नन्द के लालन पे”, every note brought divine enchantment to the auditorium. Earlier, the event began with lamp lighting and sapling felicitation, honoring art, culture & gratitude. In a vibrant showcase of talent, creativity and campus-spirit, the two-day spectacular cultural extravaganza ‘𝐙𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓’ (November 14-15), organized by 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐑𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐤 (𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒) 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 in collaboration with 𝐓𝐲𝐫𝐨 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 of 𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐂𝐄𝐓), 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲, kicked off with a bang today with grandeur. Centered on theme ‘𝐄𝐤𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐯𝐚𝐦 – 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬,’ the highlights of the fest are 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬, 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬, 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐎𝐟𝐟, 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥, 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 & much more along with 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ceremony.

The 𝐃𝐀𝐘-𝟏 DAY-1 saw inaugural by 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐃𝐞𝐯 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢, Chairman SRMS Trust who declared the fest open & inaugurated the Fine Arts Gallery & Informal Pandal in the presence of 𝐀𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐲𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢, Trust Secretary. The event was graced by 𝐄𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐡𝐫𝐚, Trust Advisor; 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢, Trustee & Director SRMS Goodlife; 𝐃𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐚, Principal CET; 𝐃𝐫 𝐀𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚, Director Pharmacy; 𝐃𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐮𝐣 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫, Director TDP Cell; 𝐃𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐱𝐞𝐧𝐚, Dean Academics, CETR, 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢 & several others.

The day-1 continued with several engaging event like Solo Singing, Mahakavya ka Anubhav, Mulitscene, De-cryptic Derby, Face-Off, Battle of Bands and Group Dance. Pratiksha Singh, Tyro President shared insights about Zest, and a short video presentation highlighting the Tyro team’s efforts for the Zest’s prep-up.
