Our 870g Miracle is Finally HOME – Eternal Gratitude to Krishna Vikash Multi-Speciality Hospital, Bargarh! 🌟💙👶
Today our hearts are bursting with joy, tears, and overwhelming thankfulness! After 55 intense days in the NICU, our tiny warrior—born at just 29 weeks, weighing only 870 grams—is discharged healthy and strong at 36 weeks corrected age, now weighing 1.67 kg! This little fighter has come home to us, and we owe it all to the extraordinary team at Krishna Vikash Multi-Speciality Hospital, Bargarh.
From the moment our baby arrived too early and too small, the challenges were immense:
• Extreme Low Birth Weight (ELBW) & Appropriate for Gestational Age (AGA)
• Severe Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS)
• Culture-proven Sepsis with Shock
• Apnea of Prematurity
• Neonatal Jaundice (NNJ)
• NEC Stage 2
• Hyponatremia
• Aspiration Pneumonia
Every day was a battle, filled with fear, sleepless nights, and countless prayers. But we were blessed to be in one of the finest tertiary-level NICUs in Western Odisha – the advanced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Krishna Vikash, with its cutting-edge technology, life-saving equipment, vigilant monitoring, and most importantly, a team that fights for every tiny life like it’s their own.
This hospital isn’t just a medical facility; it’s a true beacon of hope for families across Bargarh and beyond. With 40+ NICU beds across their network, a proudly claimed >98% survival rate in even the most critical preterm and ELBW cases, and compassionate, world-class neonatal care delivered right here in our region—no need to travel to distant cities. They have truly brought super-specialty neonatal excellence to Western Odisha.

You treated our child like family, gave us genuine hope when things felt darkest, and celebrated every gram gained and every milestone with real joy.
