🌿 TB Awareness Program at Barkuhi Central Hospital 🌿

Under the guidance of AGM Mr. L. K. Mohapatra Sir and CMS Incharge Dr. Shashishankar Sir, Barkuhi Central Hospital successfully organized a TB Awareness Program to promote awareness about prevention, early diagnosis, and complete treatment of Tuberculosis.

🗣️ Dr. A. K. Gupta sir (AMO) and Dr. Akshay Dahiwele delivered informative talks highlighting the importance of timely detection and treatment adherence.
👩‍💼 GM Ma’am, Mrs. Mohapatra addressed the gathering and emphasized collective efforts towards a TB-free society.

Gupta sir ,a Mines Closing Health Camp was successfully conducted on 24th March 2026 at Gram Panchayat Bhawan, Rawanwada by Burkuhi Central Hospital.

⚠️ One patient with BP 220/110 mmHg and another with RBS 350 mg/dl were identified during screening and referred to a higher center for further management.

👧🧒 Preventive Care & Health Education:
• Deworming was carried out for pediatric patients.
• Children were counseled regarding dental hygiene and advised to avoid fast food.
• Adults were educated on the importance of regular exercise and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

A TB Awareness Rally was successfully conducted today at Barkuhi Central Hospital at 11:00 AM with the objective of spreading awareness about tuberculosis, its prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment among the general public.

The program began with an informative talk delivered by Dr. A. K. Gupta Sir (AMO), who highlighted the importance of early detection, adherence to treatment, and the government’s efforts towards TB elimination. He also emphasized the need to remove stigma associated with the disease and encouraged community participation in controlling TB.

Following the talk, a rally was organized and led by Chief Pharmacist Mr. Dongre Ji. Participants actively took part by raising slogans to spread awareness about TB prevention and cure. The rally covered key areas to reach a wider audience and effectively convey the message.

A CSR Health Awareness Camp was organized today morning at Modern Girls Hostel and Kasturba Gandhi Girls Hostel to promote health awareness among adolescent girls. 👩‍⚕️

The program was conducted under the powerful guidance of Mr. Hemant Sharad Pande sir Director (HR), AGM Mr. L. K. Mohapatra Sir, CMS In-charge Dr. Shashi Shankar Sir and AMO Dr. A. K. Gupta Sir. 🙏
