PreetisHomeocure The term homeopathy comes from the Greek words homeo, meaning similar, and pathos, meaning suffering or disease.

Homeopathy seeks to stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself by giving very small doses of highly diluted substances. Homeopathy is an effective system of healing which assists the natural tendency of the body to heal itself. It recognises that symptoms of ill health are expressions of disharmony within the whole person and that it is the patient who needs treatment not the disease. This therapeutic method was developed by German physician Samuel Christian Hahnemann in 1796. People use homeopathy for a range of health concerns, from wellness and prevention, to the treatment of diseases and conditions such as allergies, asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, digestive disorders, ear infections, headaches, and skin rashes. The homeopathic remedies are prepared in pharmaceutic companies and can be found in pharmacies. They are all made from substances found in nature. Nevertheless, homeopathy should not be confused with herbal medicine. These two systems of medicine are very different. Herbal medicine uses tinctures of botanical substances, whereas homeopaths use ultradilute “micro”doses made from not only plant, but minerals or any other substance found in nature.
