Many parents miss their child’s appointments because work feels more urgent.
But when you book a one-to-one session for your child, it is not just another appointment — it is a step toward understanding your child’s mind.

A struggling child is not being “difficult.”
Often, the child simply doesn’t know how to express what they feel or what they need.

When parents delay support again and again, the child continues to struggle silently. What the child really needs is a parent who shows up, listens, and learns what can help them grow.

Your work is important.
But your child’s emotional development is time-sensitive. Early support can change the way a child learns, behaves, and feels about themselves.

As a psychologist trained with international exposure, I strongly believe that parent awareness is the first step in helping a child thrive.

If you have already booked a session, please make it a priority to attend.
Because when parents show up, children begin to heal.

Many parents rush for school admission, believing that once the child enters school, teachers will manage everything — behaviour, learning, homework, and development.

But this is often a misconception.

In a classroom with many children, it becomes difficult for a teacher to focus on one child’s individual developmental needs. If your child is showing signs of hyperactivity, difficulty sitting, poor focus, or learning challenges, school alone may not solve it.

Before putting academic pressure, it is important to understand your child’s readiness and developmental needs.

🔹 Parenting Tip:
If your child is not school-ready, consult a professional first. Early guidance can support the child’s attention, behaviour, emotional regulation, and learning ability.

Awareness today can prevent academic struggles and low confidence later.

Working Mothers, Your Child Needs Your Presence, Not Just Your Love. ❤️

Many working mothers feel guilty that their busy schedules don’t allow them to spend enough time with their child. And yes, we understand — balancing work, home, and parenting is not easy.

But the early years of a child’s life are the foundation years. During this stage, children learn emotional regulation, bonding, and security from their parents.

If you feel overwhelmed or unsure about how to balance work and parenting, remember you don’t have to do it alone.

S.A.K Method – Stop • Acknowledge • Know

🔹 Stop ignoring the signs that your child may need more emotional connection.
🔹 Acknowledge that parenting challenges are real, especially for working mothers.
🔹 Know that with the right guidance, you can create a healthier bond with your child.

If you need clarity, guidance, and personalized parenting strategies, you can take a one-to-one consultation.

Its a proud and emotional moment for every parent to send their child to school. 🎒
But when daily school complaints start coming because of hyperactivity, impulsive behaviour, or difficulty following instructions, it deeply affects the mental health of the mother.

Many parents miss one important step — Is your child actually school ready?

If a child is very hyper at home, struggles with routines, cannot regulate energy, or finds it difficult to listen to instructions, the same behaviour will show up in school. The child may get labelled as “naughty” or “difficult,” when in reality the child needs guidance and regulation support.

✨ School readiness is not just about age.
It is about emotional regulation, listening skills, social behaviour, and the ability to manage energy.

The good news is — with the right awareness and early support, children can learn to regulate themselves and become confident learners.

If you are receiving school complaints about hyperactivity, hitting, impulsive behaviour, or difficulty sitting in class, it may be time to seek clarity.

Are you receiving daily complaints from school about your child’s hyperactivity or behavior?
Before labeling the child, start working on the morning routine. The first few hours of the day regulate the child’s nervous system, attention span, and emotional control.

Morning SOP for Parents (15-Day Practice):

1️⃣ Regulated Diet – Avoid sugar spikes and processed foods in the morning. Provide protein-rich and balanced breakfast to stabilize energy and focus.

2️⃣ Reduce Overstimulation – Limit mobile phones, loud TV, and fast-paced cartoons early in the day. These overstimulate the nervous system and increase hyperactivity.

3️⃣ Create a Calm Environment – Keep mornings slow, structured, and predictable. Gentle music, clear instructions, and a peaceful routine help children feel regulated.

If you consistently follow this morning SOP for 15 days, you will start noticing a significant improvement in attention, behavior, and school complaints.

Parents often make the biggest mistake with hyperactive children ignoring the early signs.

Sometimes it happens due to non-awareness, and sometimes because of social pressure:
“Abhi chhota hai…”
“School jaayega toh theek ho jaayega…”

But the truth is — before a child enters school, he must be school-ready.

A child needs to learn:
• how to sit and focus
• how to follow instructions
• how to socialize with other children
• how to regulate emotions and energy

If a child struggles with these skills, school alone cannot fix it.

Early psychological guidance and parenting awareness can make a huge difference in helping hyperactive children develop the emotional and behavioral regulation they need.

Awareness is the first step toward mindful parenting.

✨ If you are a parent of a hyperactive or highly energetic child, don’t wait for things to “settle on their own.”
Seek the right guidance at the right time.

An anxious mother often unknowingly raises an anxious child. Children are highly sensitive to the emotional environment around them, especially the emotional state of their primary caregiver. When a mother feels constantly worried, rushed, or overwhelmed, the child’s nervous system begins to absorb and reflect that same tension.

This becomes even more crucial in the case of hyperactive children. Their energy is already high and their regulation system is still developing. What they truly need is a mother who brings calmness, composure, and organization into the home environment. A steady emotional presence helps the child feel secure and gradually learn self-regulation.

A powerful demonstration of this comes from the Still Face Experiment conducted by developmental psychologist Edward Tronick. In the study, when a mother suddenly stopped responding emotionally and maintained a still, unresponsive face, the baby quickly became distressed, anxious, and dysregulated. The experiment clearly showed how deeply children depend on the caregiver’s emotional cues to feel safe and balanced.

For mothers of hyperactive children, emotional awareness is not just helpful — it is essential. When the mother slows down, responds calmly, and creates structure in daily routines, the child begins to settle and organize their own energy.

Your emotional state becomes the child’s emotional training ground.
