|Breaking Out|

It is normal to have ups & downs with things which we are concerned about in life. Truth is it is always about the journey not the destination. I started having this feeling of self-realisation and started pushing myself to come out of the circle. Each morning when I woke up, I told myself that ‘I am lucky to have this life and shall accept it with open arms’. Started searching for positive energy, be it work, friends, music, books & activities. Made my ass back to Gym, got myself a proper diet routine, made sure I have quality sleep and travel to different places each month.

I found there are these three factors which I found probable causes, if we work on this three factors we shall be able to break ourselves out of the circle of depression & anxiety. First is ‘QUALITY SLEEP’, Sleep plays a vital role for good health and well-being throughout our life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right time can help us to protect our mental health, physical health and quality of life. Second is ‘EMOTIONAL STRESS’, it is one of the root cause of any kind of disease. Please try to understand, our mind is very powerful, if we lose control of mind we lose our self to stress. Third is ‘SELF DECIPINE’, the most important factor. Get into a routine and go for it without any excuses. Setting up a gentle daily schedule will help to get back to track. Set GOALS, start with very small, set goals for anything which will keep your mind busy.

You may think someone is ‘fine’ because they are posting happening pictures on social media. Isn’t it we always present the best parts of our lives in social media and very rarely includes the worst part?

When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.

" whoever you are, or whatever it is that you do, when you really want something, it's because that desire originated in the soul of the universe. It's your mission on earth" ~ King Melchizedek, The Alchemist .
After having a nice sleep at , a big shout out for amazing hosts. We started early on Sunday morning from the misty homestay after having breakfast and taking packed lunchbox. Local jeep took us to the starting point where Forest Department checks if we are carrying any plastics, as Kudremukh National Park is a plastic-free zone, believe me, we couldn't find a single plastic or bottles in whole trek path. It was so lovely to see Govt worked so hard to improve tourism here. We were lucky to receive a pass for the trek as Forest department only releases 50 members pass for a day. Thanks to , folks if you are a solo traveller. Please connect with for passes for Kudremukh Trekk.

Love for exploring new places gives a profound satisfaction to us humans. It is quite dreamy, being in this state of melancholy, finding yourself in harmony with greens, cold fresh air & sit amongst the sounds of crickets, a running stream, and nothing else but nature. I miss that feeling of presence in nature, away from the constant noise of vehicles, construction sites & sirens.
I love solitude, being all alone, have the freedom to my thoughts and choices, but not forever. My alone time reinforces me to hear my thoughts with more clarity and to love better when I am in the company of others. We are meant to connect with each other, empathize, share our feelings and experience the moment of togetherness. Travelling with your closed ones opens doors and gives clarity my perspective of achievement & accomplishment. Moreover, you enjoy sharing moments, blames of taking the wrong route to the destination, after following google.
I believe it’s always the inner instinct or guts, which keeps pushing me to keeping going towards the destination, irrespective of what is going to come in my way. Till then I will keep exploring.

Early morning Canoe ride 💚

Munroe Island a hidden gem in the backwaters located at the confluence of Asthamudi Lake & the Kallada river in Kollam district, Kerala. After reading about the less human polluted island, I made it to the island after 2 hours bike ride from Varkala and spent a night at a local family homestay. Calm, Tranquil, birds chirping & dancing in the blue sky, temple music at the background with a soft wind blowing through the canal water. I always had this question in my mind, why Kerala is called 'Gods Own Country'. And after this solo trip of 4 days, I found the answer. I was glad to see & experience this beautiful peaceful island, would definitely like to visit this mesmerizing island again.
