Notice for Article Submission

Dear All,
This is to bring your kind notice that ATWA is coming out with its Ist Volume of souvenir “FOLKLORE” having the content regarding tribal culture and the brief of the 1st Chandigarh Tribal Symposium (TriSymp-2015), so that this information may reach to each individual belonging to the community. Folklore also seeks to offer a forum for presenting different articles and opinions written on the Indian tribal cultures and expressive behaviour. There is a great need to present and share information on tribal languages of India, many of which are threatened and are on the verge of extinction. Dedicating this souvenir to the tribal issues would focus people's attention on the tribal culture and renew their interest in lexicon projects, and educational endeavors that concentrate on multilingual education. It is indeed mandatory to bring all these together under one umbrella that this souvenir endeavors to provide. The Souvenir will be circulated among all tribal peoples in Chandigarh and its surrounding. It is also circulated among different cultural association of Chandigarh specially Kinnaur, Lahaul and Spiti, Ladakh, Kargil, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.
