In the executive meet at Devak Rajouri where AIBCU held a programme on 27th of feburuary 2022 in connection with the celebration of birthday of Sant Goran ji Maharaj , after consulting telephonically with state president Abdul Majid Malik and others, it was unanimously decided to appoint Mr Nitin ji from Gran Morh Reasi as president of tehsil Reasi of distt Reasi.
Mr Nitin will immediately take over his charges after the receipt of this order.
They are further asked to nominate other committee members of their tehsil units at the earliest.

These awards are conferred by the President of India at ceremonial functions which are held at Rashtrapati Bhawan usually around March/April every year. This year the President has approved conferment of 128 Padma awards.

*DC Reasi interacts with COVID-19 Home isolated patients through REASI BEEPS*

*Instructs concerned deptts for all possible health care facilities*

REASI, Jan 18: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Reasi Charandeep Singh today interacted with COVID-19 positive patients through virtual interaction platform-REASI BEEPS here today.

While interacting, DC also inquired about the health conditions of patients who are staying in home isolations at different locations of the district and also assured them all possible sort of assistance.

Deputy Commissioner asked them to seek help from the control room set up at District administrative complex. He also instructed the CMO for deputing health teams in the areas where covid positive patients are in home isolations.

Instructions were also passed to CMO for providing necessary guidance, medical kits and other health care facilities including tele consultations and medical treatment to the patients and also shift those require emergent hospitalization.

Deputy Commissioner assured the COVID-19 patients for all sort of help and also asked them to follow all SoPs and COVID protocols during their isolation period in order to prevent exposure to the family members.

The DC also took stock of the working of Panchayat Covid Care Centers for which instructions were passed to Assistant Commissioner Development and CMO for arranging adequate staff and urgent facilities if COVID-19 positive patients staying at home isolations required to shifted in such centers.

It is pertinent to mention that REASI BEEP is virtual interaction initiative of district administration launched for resolving the grievances of people who can not access DC office due to COVID-19 restrictions. Large number of issues were also resolved through this virtual interaction.

With profound grief and sorrow we inform the sad demise of our beloved Shri Arun Verma (Bhanu) son of Surinder Verma (Retd. ZEO) resident of ward number 2, Nai Basti, Reasi today morning.

Cremation will take place at Mukti Dham Ghat, Baradari, Reasi at 3:00 Noon today 30th December (Thursday).

*EK YUDH NASHE KE VIRUDH; Two Arrested; 4.5 Kg G***a Recovered: Reasi Police*

(204 Peddlers Booked and Arrested in 9 months)

*EK YUDH, NASHE KE VIRUDH* by District Police Reasi, arrested two notorious drug peddlers and recovered banned drug G***a, from their possession.

Team of Reasi Police at Police check Post Nomain during routine checking and frisking duty noticed suspicious movement and nabbed two persons namely Guddu S/O Puran Giri R/O Dhrabur Raghabpur Tehsil & District Barely at present Railway Road Katra & Rohan Kumar S/O Roshan Kumar R/O Railway road Katra who were coming from Domail towards Katra and during checking 4.5 kg G***a like substance recovered from their possession.

On this a case FIR No 278/2021 under section 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered at this Police Station Katra, banned drug seized on the spot and both the accused got arrested. Further investigations in the case started to unearth forward and backward linkages of drug peddlers.

SSP Reasi initiative against drug abuse *“EK YUDH NASHE KE VIRUDH”* continues in district Reasi and is stretching to every nook and corner of the jurisdiction. Banned Drugs are being seized and offenders are being brought to justice.

Under the drive, Reasi Police registered 168 Case FIRs of drug abuse against 204 offenders since Mr Shailender took over the charge of SSP Reasi in ending March 2021.

Mr Shailender considers drug abuse a serious cause of concern for today's world and conveyed that time has come that people from all sections of society should come forward and join hands with Police in the war against drug abuse to eradicate this menace from society and save our future generations before it is too late.

03/11/2021 : Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad(ABVP) today announced the college unit of General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College Reasi in which A***n Sharma is annonced as College President & Paarth Khajuria is announced as College Secretary .

The College Vice Presidents include Khushi Abrol, Rikam Rajput and Surya Dev Singh.

Priya Lakhnotra was given the responsibilty College Girls incharge & Nighat Malik as Joint Girls incharge.

The College Joint Secretaries include Shruti Abrol, Anamika Verma, Sandeep Sharma, Vishav Partap and A***n Kaskotra.

Amarjeet singh is announced as Social Media Incharge, Raman kumar as Convenor of Student For Development(SFD), Manjeet Kumar, Avinash, Sujal Suri and Arjun Sharma as SFD Joint Convenors. Avinash Kumar as Convenor of Student For Seva(SFS), Paras Kesar and Harsh Abrol as SFS Joint convenors. ABVP District Convenor Akash Deep Singh informed that Fomer College President Abhijeet Thakur and Former College Secretary Shweta Sharma were given the responsibility of State Executive Council Members in State Unit of ABVP Jammu Kashmir during its 56th State Conference which were held on 31 March 2021 at Udhampur.
