Feeling loved, feeling secure and socially accepted are innate human needs. Emotional issues arise when we don’t feel loved and accepted by a person or group of people we expect the love and acceptance from.

Remember love and acceptance cannot be forced, it must naturally flow to you. If you are disappointed or heart broken, focus on giving yourself the unconditional love and you will attract more love and abundance in your life.

Good vision is an essential aspect of overall health and well-being.

Eyesight is one of the most important senses: 80% of what you perceive comes through a sense of sight. By protecting your eyes, you will reduce the odds of blindness and vision loss while also staying on top of any eye diseases such as cataracts and glaucoma.

The main cause of vision impairment can be uncorrected refractive error, followed by cataracts.

Other causes include glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy (DR), retinal detachment, and age-related macular degeneration.

Many individuals tend to ignore early signs of eye disease, or even worse, they do not notice the signs of such conditions and fail to seek treatment in a timely manner, leading to preventable vision loss.

So get regular eye check ups based on your age group and consult your doctor as soon as possible if you detect any eyesight issue.

The overall objective of Mental Health Awareness month is to raise awareness around mental health issues around the world and to mobilise efforts in support of mental health.

Mental health literacy is the knowledge and belief about mental problems and disorders that help us recognise, manage or prevent them. It includes:

The theme of World Down Syndrome Day this year is "Inclusion Means". It calls for making efforts to include people with down syndrome in all matters of life and not discriminate against them.

Your trauma is not your fault, but healing is your responsibility.
Things to remember-:
🔹Find out as much as you can about distress, so you can understand something about what to expect.
🔹Allow the person to talk about what happened, even if they become upset.
🔹Laughter is a wonderful antidote to stress. Find ways to help them to smile or laugh.
🔹Try to involve the person in physical activity, such as walking or swimming. Exercise burns off stress chemicals, reduces muscle tension and encourages better sleep.

If you are experiencing trauma, don't hesitate to seek professional help immediately.
