We are delighted to share a proud moment for all of us at Appasamy.
Our CEO, Senthil Kumar, was honored with the Leadership Luminary Award at the EYE FEST 2026, organized by the M.M.Joshi Eye Institute for Partnering Eye Care.
The MM Joshi Eye Institute, founded in 1967 by Dr. M.M. Joshi, remains a benchmark in Indian ophthalmology. Their commitment to delivering advanced, high-quality eye care at an affordable cost continues to inspire the entire ecosystem. North Karnataka and beyond have benefited immensely from their clinical excellence, academic leadership, and deep sense of purpose.
This recognition reflects a shared belief that guides both MMJEI and Appasamy. Advanced ophthalmic technology should not be limited by geography or affordability. It must reach every surgeon who wants to do better for their patients, and every patient who deserves the best possible outcome.
Senthil Kumar accepted this honor on behalf of every employee at Appasamy Associates. It belongs to our teams across R&D, manufacturing, service, sales, and customer support who work quietly and consistently to make a comprehensive range of ophthalmic medical device technologies accessible to ophthalmology.
