Meet Sri Jaya Surya, our newest addition to the team, who has joined VenturEast as an Investment Analyst

Prior to joining VenturEast, Jaya Surya has worked with Ernst & Young where he served the Power & Utilities sector contributing towards shaping and accelerating Energy transition and Climate change mitigation initiatives.

Operating at the convergence of supporting Founders, impacting Under-served Markets and driving Innovation and Technology diffusion motivates him to work harder every day. For Founders, he looks forward to being a friend who is just a call away. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's in Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Meet Rohit Modi, our newest addition to the team, who has joined VenturEast as a Finance Manager.

Prior to joining Ventureast, Rohit had worked with Wipro Ltd. as a Business Finance Manager. He was involved in deal modelling and negotiation, revenue recognition and monitoring the profitability growth of the assigned customer clusters.

Rohit is a Chartered Accountant (AIR 43) where he has also cleared 4 papers of Actuarial Science. Apart from work, one could find him playing cricket and listening to music.

Here's to ekincare one of our portfolio companies, a Hyderabad based health benefits that has started as a remote health monitoring platform for non-resident Indians to keep track of their parents’ health and has now pivoted into optimising companies’ spend - managing over one million-plus from 300 corporates. In fact, has helped corporates save 450,000 hours, cumulatively, in productivity for employees, and Rs. 7 crore in healthcare expenditure. It has seen more than two million transactions over the past months, and has grown nearly 50 percent month on month. Onwards and upwards team!
