Since the Government is finding difficult to fulfill all the needs in medical education, the Safe Development Alms Trust, Palakkad has entered the scene of Medical Education. The trust has started the Karuna Hospital at Vilayodi, Chittur in the year 2004 and entered the Medical Education field in the year 2006 by starting Karuna Medical College as a part of Karuna Institute of Medical Sciences
