It was a privilege to present at the FSII - Federation of Seed Industry of India AGM 2025 during the “Lab to Land: Making Seed Business Easier, Faster, and Smarter” conference on 26th September at NASC, New Delhi.

During my session, I spoke on the areas of possible engagement of the private sector with ICRISAT exploring how partnerships can accelerate innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth in the seed and agri-food sector.

Connecting with industry leaders, policymakers, and fellow experts reinforced the importance of collaborative approaches to make agriculture more efficient, inclusive, and future-ready.

Delighted to have participated in the Indo Pulses Development Association (IPDA) Policy Dialogue Group Meeting on “Alternative Protein through Pulses” in Mumbai on June 20, 2025.

Engaging discussions with Hon. Shri Vikas Chandra Rastogi, IAS , Principal Secretary, Agriculture, Maharashtra, and Dr. Hemant Wasekar, IAS, Project Director, SMART, Govt. of Maharashtra, emphasized the pivotal role of pulses in sustainable nutrition and agribusiness innovation.

We explored critical areas— from scaling innovative processing techniques to building robust infrastructure and fostering global competitiveness.

We charted a path to scale pulse-based protein solutions for India’s nutrition security and global leadership. Let’s drive this transformation forward!

🚀 Thrilled to Host & Collaborate with Global Innovators in Agriculture!**

Yesterday, ICRISAT’s Agribusiness & Innovation Platform welcomed a dynamic delegation of **UK startups** for an insightful exchange on sustainable agri-solutions. It was inspiring to explore synergies between cutting-edge UK innovations and our mission to empower farmers and agri-enterprises.

Today, I joined a transformative **India-UK Agritech Workshop**, where startups and experts from both nations engaged in cross-learning to address shared challenges in agriculture. The discussions focused on:
🔹 Identifying bottlenecks in scaling agritech innovations.
🔹 Sharing scalable solutions for climate resilience, market access, and tech adoption.
🔹 Building bridges for collaborative R&D and knowledge transfer.

The energy was palpable as we mapped pathways to turn obstacles into opportunities! A big shout-out to all participants for their visionary ideas and commitment to driving ** ** forward.
