Conflict doesn’t mean something is wrong—it often means something important is trying to be understood.

When we bring in awareness of attachment styles, we stop fighting each other and start understanding what’s underneath.

Pause. Get curious. Respond, don’t react.

Growth doesn’t follow a calendar.
You don’t need a new year, a perfect moment, or permission to begin again.

Healing can start on an ordinary day.
Even today. ✨

One year round the sun ☀️

Intentions for this year ♥️

1. I will focus on small consistent steps more than big dramatic changes 🧗🏼‍♀️

2. I will focus on being okay with uncertainty- not everything needs to be fixed immediately. Not every question needs an immediate answer 🧘🏼‍♀️

3. Fear often sits next to growth. I will focus on new avenues, opportunities, and challenges. Growth often happens in the spaces we resist ✈️

4. Internal agency and work on myself > worrying what others are doing/not doing 🎯

5. And I will begin again, from where I get derailed. There is always room to begin again 🏄🏼‍♀️

P.s. also going to eat the cake first 🍰

Was hearing this song, and oh, it explains the concept of trauma bond so beautifully! 🤌🏻

What is a trauma bond? - its an emotional attachment that develops in a relationship where in there is a pattern of repeated hurt, disrespect, and conflict, followed by moments of relief and connection. And it’s not easy to move out!

For the ones trying to leave, I hear you ♥️

Strong, with notes of calm.
Because real strength isn’t intensity, it’s regulation.
It’s being able to stay present when things feel messy, uncertain, or tender.

That’s the space I try to hold in my work.

We grew up romanticising intensity.
But real intimacy is built on safety, not survival.

What did you once mistake for love?

The hardest phase of counselling?
When you can see the pattern, but you’re still living it.😶‍🌫️

This is not failure.
This is the middle.

Therapy isn’t about one big breakthrough.
It’s about small, repeated choices;
pausing a little longer,
responding a little differently,
staying a little steadier.

Awareness opens the door.
Practice is what helps you walk through it.

Be patient with your process.
Change is built in micro-moments.
