Most of us know that to have visible abs, you need to be lean enough for them to show. However, if you want them to be impressive when you do get lean enough, you should make sure you train them adequately just like any other muscle group.

Typically, the lower abs are the most difficult to obtain. I believe this is due to two factors. The first is that lower ab exercises are more challenging. Lower ab exercises are naturally weighted since they require you to bring the weight of your lower half towards you. The second factor is that lower abs tend to lose fat later than your upper abs causing them to be the last ones to show.

The upper abs are the easiest to target. Any crunching motion should do. As for obliques, they are hit with twisting motions. If you incorporate an exercise from each column throughout the week, you’ll be hitting all areas of your abs. Combine that with compound lifts and when it’s finally time to cut and get lean, you should have well developed abs. When it comes to toast🍞: Avocado or PB?⁠

Both are good fat sources. Avocados are rich in vitamin B important for the process of turning carbs into energy. Never leave out, the good fats as they also help to burn it and to regulate hormones in our body. PB is a great addition to daily healthy fat intake and adds some extra boost of protein to our diet, more over: if you top your toast with some banana, you will have extra fiber and potassium (important to fight cravings).⁠

👉 You feel the need to eat or snack all day around.

👉 You eat a lot of fruit or drink a lot of juice 🧃

👉 You're a coffee ☕ hound and crave surgery, alcoholic drinks🍸

Chia Seeds 101: Nutrition Facts and Health Benefit

Chia seeds are the tiny black seeds of the chia plant (Salvia hispanica).

Native to Mexico and Guatemala, they were a staple food for the ancient Aztecs and Mayans. In fact, “chia” is the ancient Mayan word for “strength”.

Chia seeds contain large amounts of fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, plenty of high quality protein, and several essential minerals and antioxidants.

They may improve digestive health, blood levels of heart-healthy omega-3s, and risk factors for heart disease and diabetes.

Chia seeds are small, flat, and oval-shaped with a shiny and smooth texture. Their color ranges from white to brown or black .

These seeds are highly versatile. They can be soaked and added to porridge, made into pudding, used in baked goods, or simply sprinkled on top of salads or yogurt.

Remember when we used to be afraid of egg yolks? 😉 Glad we’re past that stage overall. Both egg whites and egg yolks are a great part of an overall healthy diet. A nice trick if you want to add more volume to a meal is to do an omelet with 1-2 whole eggs + 2-3 egg whites (you can use the egg white cartons if you want to reduce waste).⠀

Egg whites overall are a lean source of protein but many of the nutrients reside in the egg yolk. Whole eggs contain all of the vitamin A, D, E & K. Whole eggs also have a higher amount of B6, B12 and folic acid compared to their egg white counterparts. So don’t skimp on the yolk too much.⠀

Now if you’re wonder how to boil the perfect eggs, follow the instructions closely below:⠀

1 - Place eggs in a large saucepan and cover them with cool water by 1 inch.⠀
2 - Cover the pan with a lid and bring water to a rolling boil over high heat.⠀
3 - When the water has reached a full boil, set a timer for the desired time and keep it full boiling the whole time.
4 - Immediately place the eggs in an ice water bath once they are done (this helps ensure they come out easier to peel too!)⠀

Timing: ⠀
Soft boiled - 2 minutes⠀
Medium boiled - 3-5 minutes⠀
Hard boiled - 6-7 minutes⠀

Protein Breakfast Waffles ✖️⁠


🌱 Ingredients (Makes about 3 big waffles/ 6 small ones )⁠
- 80 g Rolled Oats⁠
- 40 g Protein Powder⁠
- 240 ml Soy Milk⁠
- 1/2 Mashed Banana⁠
- 1 tsp Baking Powder⁠
- a pinch of Salt�.⁠

TOPPINGS:⁠
- Blueberries and Peach⁠
- 2 tsp Maple Syrup�⁠

🔥 Prep:⁠
1. Combine all ingredients in a bender until smooth.⁠
2. Use a little coconut oil to prepare your waffle iron �(otherwise it may stick)⁠
3. Pour the batter into the iron and bake for around 5 minutes⁠
-> serve with fresh fruit and ENJOY⁠

Add all ingredients to a masonjar or container, mix it and lock the jar/container with the lid. Leave it in your refrigerator overnight for 7-9 hours and simply enjoy when you wake up! 😋
