Delhi Homoeopathic Medical Association Holds CME and Oath Ceremony

The Delhi Homoeopathic Medical Association (DHMA) organised a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme along with an oath ceremony on Sunday at Geetanjali Hall, Delhi Public Library, S. P. Mukherjee Marg, Delhi 110006.
The CME focused on the theme “Infertility in Females and Males – Myths vs Facts” with the aim of improving clinical knowledge and promoting scientific awareness among homoeopathic practitioners. The keynote lecture was delivered by Dr. Kumaar Gandhi, MBBS, MD (Gynaecology), on the topic “Obesity in Adolescent Females.” He shared practical insights from his clinical experience. The session was attended by 52 doctors and students.
An oath ceremony for the newly selected Executive Committee for the 2026–27 term was also held under the leadership of newly unopposed elected President, Prof. Dr. Deepak Sharma. The ceremony reflected the association’s emphasis on professional ethics, unity among practitioners, and commitment to the growth of homoeopathy and responsible healthcare.
Founded and registered in 1932 by Dr. Yudhvir Singh, DHMA is recognised as the oldest homoeopathic association in Delhi. Dr. Singh also served as Delhi’s first Health Minister and was the first Chairman of the Board of Homoeopathic Medical System in Delhi from 1958 to 1969, playing a key role in promoting homoeopathy in the capital.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Deepak Sharma highlighted the association’s focus on continuous learning, professional development, and increasing public awareness about homoeopathy.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the speakers, organisers, and participants.
