🌟 IMA Dwarka Moved to Najafgarh

First CME in Najafgarh! 🌟
Part 2

Yesterday marked a milestone – for the very first time in the history of IMA Dwarka, we organized a Continuing Medical Education Programme (CME) in Najafgarh, in collaboration with Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka.

👉 Session Highlights:

Chaired by: Dr. Ajay Yadav, Dr. Gajveer Singh & Dr. Vijay Jaimini

✨ More than 60 members of the IMA Dwarka family from Najafgarh and adjoining areas came together, making it not just an academic feast but also a wonderful platform for meet-and-greet, exchange of ideas, and fraternity bonding.

🙏 The evening began with a warm Welcome Address by President Dr. Deepmala Lalchandani, efficiently moderated by Dr. Amit Tyagi, Secretary IMA Dwarka.
👏 The event concluded with an inspiring Vote of Thanks and Felicitation by Dr. Mukesh Verma.

💡 This CME was truly the brainchild of Dr. Prakash Lalchandani, who envisioned strengthening ties and involving practitioners from the Najafgarh belt.

Everyone present appreciated the initiative, the choice of topics, and the effort of Team IMA Dwarka. The event was followed by High Spirited dinner, leaving members with not only knowledge but also cherished memories.

🌟 Aao School Chale 2 – IMA Dwarka 🌟

It was a truly wonderful and impactful day at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Jafarpur, where IMA Dwarka carried forward its initiative “Aao School Chale.”

👏 Kudos to Dr. Satish, our esteemed speakers – Dr. (Prof) Bhagwat Rajput, Dr. Avnish Bhargava, Dr. Shubhangi, Dr. Aditi, Dr. Jyoti – along with the dedicated RTRM staff, psychologists, and volunteers who made this programme meaningful and engaging.

🙏 Heartfelt thanks to our President Madam Dr. Deepmala for her time and guidance.
🌟 A special mention to Dr. Praveen Dagar, who stole the show as an alumnus of the same school – a proud moment indeed!

🌸 IMA Dwarka Women’s Wing CME 🌸

On 13th August 2025, the Women’s Wing of IMA Dwarka, in association with MSD Pharma, organized an informative CME at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dwarka.

✨ Awareness is the mainstay of prevention – with this thought, the session focused on a very relevant topic and a step towards Cervical Cancer Mukt Bharat.

👩‍⚕️ Dr. Bharati Seth delivered an excellent talk on:
“HPV in Middle-Aged Women: Prevention, Challenges & Strategies.”

📌 The CME saw a full house attendance, with active participation by delegates, making the event a grand success.

🌸 IMA Dwarka Women’s Wing – Lunch CME 🌸

On 28th August 2025, the Women’s Wing of IMA Dwarka successfully hosted a Lunch CME at Radisson Blu Hotel, Sector 13, Dwarka. The program was well-organised, well-attended, and full of meaningful discussions.

💐 Dr. Deepmala, President IMA Dwarka, welcomed the gathering and appreciated the active role of the Women’s Wing in bringing important health issues to the forefront.

✨ Highlights of the CME:

Dr. Bharati Seth emphasized the importance of preconceptional nutritional health in women, reminding that a healthy beginning ensures a healthier future.

Dr. Neeru Kiran Banerjee delivered an insightful talk on the implications of Hyperhomocystenemia, its impact on women’s health, and preventive strategies.

🗣️ The talks were followed by an engaging interactive discussion, where participants shared thoughts, experiences, and practical perspectives.

✅ The CME concluded with important carry-home messages that will help strengthen awareness and improve practice in day-to-day life.

🚓 24th July – BLS Training for Delhi Police
Conducted at Delhi Police Academy, in collaboration with IAP Delhi.

Led by Dr. Shalu Gupta, Dr. Maninder Singh Dhaliwal, Dr. Radhika Sachdeva & Dr. Amit Tyagi.

350+ police trainees trained in CPR and first aid.
Since April, 1,300+ police personnel empowered as first responders.

Held at Radisson Blu Dwarka.

Began with powerful academic sessions on mental health by Dr. Dinesh Kataria & Dr. Deepti (Venkateshwar Hospital).

Followed by a vibrant Teej celebration with 70+ lady doctors, dressed in traditional attire, performing folk dances and spreading festive joy.
