Dr. Subhas Kaushik, Hon’ble Director General, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy , along with a team of officials, was warmly received at Guwahati Airport by Officer-in-Charge Dr. Amulya Ratna Sahoo.

The team visited the construction site of the upcoming RRIH, Guwahati-cum-Integrated AYUSH Wellness Center at Azara, where engineers from CPWD briefed them on the progress of the ongoing work.

They also visited the institute campus at Bhetapara, Guwahati, where they interacted with the officials and staff.

RRIH Guwahati organized a two-day Scientific Seminar on 9th–10th March on the theme “Emerging Disease Patterns in North-East India: A Homoeopathic Perspective on Respiratory and Mental Health” at Hotel Lily, Guwahati.

The inaugural session was graced by Dr. Indranoshee Das, ACS, Director of AYUSH, Government of Assam, as the Chief Guest. The programme was attended by eminent academicians, researchers, and practitioners from across the region.

Eminent speakers including Prof. (Dr.) Abhijit Chattopadhyay, Prof. (Dr.) Subhas Singh, Dr. Chintamani Nayak, Dr. Hadi Kamrul Islam, Dr. Hrishikesh Sarma, Dr. Soumendu Bhattacharya, and Dr. Deepen Baruah delivered insightful lectures during the scientific sessions.

The seminar featured scientific lectures, interactive discussions, and a quiz competition for the participants. The deliberations over the two days provided valuable insights into the changing disease patterns in North-East India and highlighted the scope of homoeopathic management in respiratory and mental health conditions.

RRIH Guwahati bade farewell to not one, but three of its valued employees on the same day. After rendering nearly three decades of dedicated service to the institute, Probin Rai retired today. On the same occasion, Dr Hasina Sultana and Dr Nabarun Raksh*t also tendered their resignations as they move forward to pursue their future endeavours.

On this significant occasion, the Officer-in-Charge, Dr Amulya Ratna Sahoo, along with all the officers and staff of RRIH Guwahati, gathered to bid them a warm and memorable farewell, wishing them good health, success, and fulfilment in their journeys ahead.
