✨ Lighting the path of care and compassion ✨
The College of Nursing, proudly organized the Lamp Lighting & Oath Taking Ceremony for the 2nd Batch of B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing on 18 December 2025.
A total of 56 students of Batch 2025 took the sacred nursing oath, marking their formal induction into the noble profession of healthcare. 🕯️👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️
The ceremony was led by Prof. Dr. Unmona Borgohain Saikia, Professor-cum-Principal, CON, AIIMS Guwahati, and presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Puranik, Executive Director, AIIMS Guwahati.
We were honoured by the presence of Prof. Sheela Durai (Chief Guest), Ms. Lakshmi Sripada (Guest of Honour), and Dr. Gitumoni Konwar (Special Guest), whose guidance and inspiration added grace to this memorable occasion. 🌿

The Technical Resource Centre, DHR Centre for Evidence-Based Guidelines, AIIMS Guwahati successfully hosted the SARANSH-2 Workshop on Quality of Evidence from 6–9 December 2025.

Over four intensive days, 30 carefully selected participants engaged in in-depth learning that seamlessly blended methodological foundations with hands-on practical training in systematic reviews and meta-analysis.

A Transformative Leap in Surgical Excellence
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, AIIMS Guwahati, in collaboration with AiAGE, successfully conducted a power-packed 3-day Basic Laparoscopic Gynaecologic Surgery Workshop—a programme that brought together passion, precision, and progress under one roof.
Delegates from across the immersed themselves in an enriching learning journey featuring expert-led lectures, live operative demonstrations, and intensive hands-on training. The workshop was further elevated by the presence of distinguished faculty from and whose expertise infused new depth and direction into the sessions.
