Happy New Year 2026.
In five days, the Assam Chess concludes the “14th National School Chess Championship 2025”, and I am deeply honored to have been part of the arbiters’ team at this prestigious tournament. It has been an absolute pleasure to collaborate with highly experienced, esteemed, and exceptional arbiters and organisers, although our time together was brief, the bond we forged and the moments we created will forever be etched in my memory and cherished throughout my life, motivating me to continually strive for excellence. I am pleased to offer an album of portraits.

Every picture is a chapter in the book of life. I don’t make memories with things but with good people. In the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take, and the memories we didn’t make. Sometimes when I need a miracle, I look into my son’s eyes, and realize I’ve already created one.
Son, you are the best version of us combined and a vision of what’s to come. I find both my greatest joy and deepest pride in the event of 1st Assam University International Rapid/Blitz/Classic Rated Chess Tournament 2025.
