37 year male with history of metallic Mitral valve replacement 10 years back presented with left upper limb pain & absent pulse , BP - NR in left upper limb, cold extremity . He was not taking anticoagulant/warfarin from last 1 years.
Echo : LVEF: 35%, with normal functioning mitral valve prosthesis, no clot.
Peripheral angiography done today showing left brachial artery 100% thrombotic occlusion following that
Peripheral ballon angioplasty done with good distal flow in radial artery following that left upper limb pulse palpable & BP recordable. Patient limb salvaged from gangrene and amputation.
