Diwali has been a day or anxiousness for all of us, as our heart was out battling her toughest enemy 'blood cancer' on its last front. It was the final battle and we soon expect you to celebrate your re-birth on 23rd November this year.
My warrior who has faught through all this with a special smile on her face always.
I am awestruck with your most potential to be calm and acceptable of the fact that 'You got it, but, you fought against it'. Not many people can withstand what you underwent. And that gives me although more reason to respect you love your tonnes!!!

My baby dove is on Cycle 2 - Day 1 chemo (Inj Azacitidine)

These injections are extremely strong and vomits are very much the side effects of chemo. Today she had #6 vomits back to back after her chemo.
Trisha's brother and sister's bone marrow matched only 50%, but, as per doctor s recommendation we need a 10/10 match.
Now we have two options:
1. Either we continue with chemo medicines and Do not consider the chemo. The risk is high and the normalcy of life is not promised.

2. We consider an outside donor from the government. Pre-approved donor list. Provided we pay the donor the requisite donor amount and enable the bone marrow transplant at the earliest. The normalcy of the patient is guaranteed to some extent with the assurance that if the cancer goes into remission for 5 years in continuation, trisha would be free from AML life long.

We are aiming to go for the second option and try to give the best shot at life we can . In doing we would need tonnes and tonnes of prayers and some financial support . We have come a great way with everybody's support and are doing the best we can to save my sister in law.

As a starter , Trisha s blast cell count i.e. cancer cells count in the bone marrow are now 0. Which is partially good news as the chemo medicine is showing its impact . But nonetheless doctors fear that once the medicine is stopped cancer cells would again start to multiple asap.
Thus, a detailed report which would come by coming Monday would detail out the next course of action i.e. whether another round of chemo or Bone Marrow Transplant.
Since her first report has placed her in high risk category, thus, bone marrow transplant will be done for sure.
However , due to her chemo meds the liver and kidney readings have impacted alot. And lot of care through proper food and tonnes of water need to be taken to flush out the body toxins.

Her two favorite things in life are : eating and travelling . Both of which are restricted due to her recent condition of blood cancer with aberrant CD7. We are just praying day and night to give wisdom and knowledge to the doctor who treats and cures her .

5 days of the second session of Trisha s chemo have lapsed...
Apart from all the discomfort , vomiting and indigestion are the biggest enemies so far ... She has to literally fight her way to eat her meals along with some fruit during the day .
Along with her chemo medicines, she has been advised anti fungal and anti bacterial medicines as well for the infection in her lungs to cure .
Getting hurt or any kind of blood loss might prove to be perilous in Blood cancer .... Because of which she has been advised against brushing teeth , using a scrubber on the body or face .
Tomorrow her second BMT would be conducted at Fortis Memorial hospital , gurgaon, for which one of the reports determining the blast count would be out within few hours and the rest would take a week.
Requesting all to keep praying and keep sending her blessings....

This is for my baby girl,
I hope these motivations keep her positivity levels high ....
It becomes immensely difficult for her , to remain confined to one room, one bed and boring meals.
The least we can do for her is motivate her through these quotes and send her our blessings from far and near to boost her morale ....
After spending the entire day, she becomes a small child in the evening , demanding and complaining 😘😘😘😘.
We just want her to be healthy soon ... After all the pains she has endured , she deserves to lead a healthy and rich life ....
I experienced the health improvements in her cos of the prayers and blessings from all of you ...
It's beyond words to describe how much indebted we are as family to you all for the blessings and love for Trisha ....
