Use of some herbs like turmeric, tulsi, tej patta and lots of others are ingrained in us Indians. There were a lot more herbs used in ancient India and somehow with the advancement and technological progress, we have reduced the use of these herbs in our daily lives and are subscribing to medicines. I am not an expert on the subject but what I do understand is that the use of these traditional plant products is harmless and a very healthy and natural way to improve our health. Urban garden India is an attempt to increase the use of these medicinal/ beneficial plants into our urban lives and thus improve the general health of people and environment. We are starting with bringing these green friends at your doorstep. We promote the use of earthen pots and ceramic pots, use of organic pesticides and soil enrichers. The potting soil we use is a mix of many organic ingredients make the soil rich and healthy. We have scanned the bylanes of Kumhar colony in Delhi to look for the best available earthen pots, that are baked well and will last long for the users.
