भोपाल में आयोजित ‘दैनिक भास्कर प्राइड ऑफ मध्य प्रदेश अवार्ड 2025’ में
डॉ. बी. आर. श्रीवास्तव को चिकित्सा क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट योगदान हेतु सम्मान

राजधानी भोपाल के कुशाभाऊ ठाकरे सभागार में आयोजित दैनिक भास्कर प्राइड ऑफ मध्य प्रदेश अवार्ड 2025 (सीजन–5) समारोह में मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव ने प्रदेश की कला, संस्कृति, खेल, शिक्षा, चिकित्सा, सामाजिक सेवा, रियल एस्टेट एवं इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर सहित विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में उल्लेखनीय योगदान देने वाली 91 विशिष्ट हस्तियों को सम्मानित किया।

इस गरिमामयी समारोह में ग्वालियर स्थित कैंसर हॉस्पिटल एंड रिसर्च इंस्टिट्यूट के निदेशक डॉ. बी. आर. श्रीवास्तव को चिकित्सा क्षेत्र में उनके उत्कृष्ट एवं सराहनीय योगदान के लिए “प्राइड ऑफ मध्य प्रदेश अवार्ड 2025” से सम्मानित किया गया।

डॉ. श्रीवास्तव ने कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बीमारी के उपचार, अनुसंधान एवं जन-जागरूकता के क्षेत्र में निरंतर कार्य करते हुए हजारों मरीजों को नई उम्मीद और बेहतर स्वास्थ्य प्रदान किया है। उनका यह योगदान न केवल ग्वालियर बल्कि सम्पूर्ण मध्य प्रदेश के लिए गर्व का विषय है।

🌸 महिला स्वास्थ्य की दिशा में एक सशक्त कदम 🌸

दिनांक 27 दिसंबर 2025 (शनिवार) को कैंसर हॉस्पिटल एवं शोध संस्थान द्वारा समर्पण हॉस्पिटल, ग्वालियर में मैमोग्राफी शिविर का सफल आयोजन किया गया।
इस शिविर में बड़ी संख्या में महिलाओं ने भाग लिया एवं मैमोग्राफी जांच के साथ-साथ विशेषज्ञों से परामर्श भी प्राप्त किया।

👩‍⚕️ शिविर में कैंसर हॉस्पिटल की टीम –
डॉ. संजना, सिस्टर सुजा, टेक्नीशियन पूजा एवं नर्सिंग स्टाफ उषा की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही।

🎉 कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ श्री जी. डी. लड्ढा (अस्पताल संचालक) एवं श्रीमती समीक्षा गुप्ता (पूर्व महापौर, ग्वालियर) की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में हुआ।

💗 यह शिविर महिलाओं में स्तन कैंसर के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने और समय पर जांच को प्रोत्साहित करने की दिशा में एक सफल पहल रहा।

कैंसर हॉस्पिटल एन्ड रिसर्च इंस्टिट्यूट ग्वालियर के kids जोन में cankids द्वारा बच्चों के साथ क्रिसमस का त्यौहार मनाया गया. इस प्रोग्राम में डॉ. अनिल सर और डॉ. विजय चौधरी सर ने भागीदारी की. कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित बच्चों को गिफ्ट्स और स्वलपहार का वितरित किये गए. कार्यक्रम में का आयोजन cankids के हामिद खान द्वारा किया गया. कार्यक्रम में ब्र. सुदर्शन और रजनी कुशवाह भी शामिल हुए.

दिनांक 24.12.2025 (बुधवार) को कैंसर हॉस्पिटल एंड रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट, ग्वालियर (CHRI) में भारत विकास परिषद एवं इंडियन डेंटल एसोसिएशन, ग्वालियर के सहयोग से एक रक्तदान शिविर का सफल आयोजन किया गया।

इस शिविर में 20 से अधिक रक्तदान सफलतापूर्वक किए गए। CHRI के निदेशक डॉ. बी. आर. श्रीवास्तव ने शिविर स्थल पर उपस्थित होकर सभी रक्तदाताओं से भेंट की और उनके इस मानवीय कार्य की सराहना करते हुए भविष्य में भी नियमित रक्तदान के लिए सभी को प्रोत्साहित किया।

यह शिविर समाज के प्रति सेवा, सहयोग एवं मानवीय संवेदनाओं का एक सराहनीय उदाहरण रहा।

The Cancer Hospital & Research Institute witnessed a heart-warming celebration as Respected Shri Virendra Bapnaji and Smt. Ritu Bapnaji chose to commemorate their wedding anniversary in the presence of our brave cancer warriors. Their gracious presence brought immense joy and positivity to patients, caregivers, and staff alike.

To make the occasion memorable, a delightful magic show was organised, where Magician Mohit mesmerized the audience with his wonderful and engaging tricks. The children, full of enthusiasm, danced, laughed, and enjoyed every moment of the celebration.

Adding to the festive spirit, delicious snacks were served to all attendees, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere.

Dr. B. R. Shrivastava, Director, CHRI, shared a heartfelt message expressing deep gratitude to Shri Virendra and Smt. Ritu Bapnaji for choosing to celebrate their special day with the CHRI family. He acknowledged their compassion and kindness, which brought smiles to many young faces.

As a gesture of love, Shri Virendra and Smt. Ritu Bapnaji distributed beautiful gifts to the children. In return, the kids surprised them with their handmade paintings and personalized photo frames, making the moment even more emotional and unforgettable.

During his address, Shri Virendra Bapnaji expressed that celebrating this anniversary amidst the courageous children of CHRI has been the most meaningful and memorable anniversary of his life so far.

An educational visit by the students of 7i World School, Gwalior took place today, 28.11.2025 (Friday), at the Cancer Hospital and Research Institute (CHRI), Gwalior. A total of 60 students, aged 13 to 14 years, comprising both girls and boys, visited the hospital accompanied by four teaching faculty members.

During the visit, the students were escorted to various areas and departments of CHRI, where they were introduced to the hospital’s facilities, services, and functioning. They also attended an awareness session on essential life-saving skills, including Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), helping them understand the importance of emergency response and basic first aid.

As part of the educational engagement, the students participated in a mask-painting activity, where they used their creativity and imagination to paint Radiation Therapy (RT) patient masks on the theme “Love and Hope.” This activity aimed to inspire empathy, positivity, and awareness about the emotional journey of cancer patients.

The visit was further enriched by the friendly interaction of Dr. B. R. Shrivastava, Director, CHRI, who addressed the students on the causes of cancer and highlighted the significance of healthy lifestyle choices, early detection, and public awareness. His motivational talk encouraged the students to adopt good habits and contribute to spreading awareness within their communities.

कैंसर जागरूकता सत्र एवं वाहन दान कार्यक्रम
दिनांक: 27 नवंबर 2025 (गुरुवार)
स्थान: ग्वालियर

आदरणीय श्रीमती मनोरमा लड्डा जी की पावन स्मृति में आज ग्वालियर में कैंसर जागरूकता सत्र एवं वाहन दान कार्यक्रम का सफल आयोजन किया गया। यह कार्यक्रम समर्पण अन्नम दानम् चैरिटेबल सोसाइटी, भारत विकास परिषद – शाखा विवेकानंद, तथा कैंसर हॉस्पिटल एवं रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट, ग्वालियर के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में संपन्न हुआ।

3. विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यान — डॉ. बी. आर. श्रीवास्तव (निदेशक, कैंसर हॉस्पिटल)

अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने बताया कि:
भारत में हर वर्ष लगभग 15 लाख नए कैंसर मरीज सामने आते हैं।
मृत्यु दर अधिक होने का मुख्य कारण देर से निदान है।
ICMR के अनुसार हर 10 में से 1 व्यक्ति कैंसर से प्रभावित है।
उन्होंने बताया कि बदलती जीवनशैली एवं खान-पान कैंसर के बढ़ते मामलों में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहे हैं। भारत में तेजी से बढ़ रहे प्रमुख कैंसर इस प्रकार हैं:
सिर एवं गर्दन का कैंसर
प्रोस्टेट कैंसर
फेफड़ों का कैंसर
गर्भाशय ग्रीवा (सर्वाइकल) कैंसर
स्तन कैंसर
कोलोरेक्टल कैंसर

उन्होंने जोर देते हुए कहा कि समय पर जांच ही कैंसर नियंत्रण का सबसे प्रभावी उपाय है।

From 19th to 21st September 2025, Gwalior city witnessed The 53rd Indian Cooperative Oncology Network Conference where various national and international faculties and delegates collected to enrich themselves and share their knowledge and experiences.

Talking about various competitions that took place on Day 1 at Hall B, Dr. Himanshu Khatri co-ordinated the event. The qualifying rounds of following competitions took place:

1. Oncology Grant Competition for which the judges were Dr. Purvish Parikh and Dr. B R Shrivastava

2. Molecular Oncology Grant Competition for which the judges were Dr. Purvish Parikh and Dr. B R Shrivastava

3. Surgical Video Qualifying Round for which the judges were were Dr. Purvish Parikh and Dr. B R Shrivastava

4. Oral Paper qualifying round for which the judges were Dr. B R Shrivastava, Dr. V Jalaj, Dr. Nidhisha Agrawal, Dr. Sanjay Chandel and Dr. Pankaj Gandotra.

5. Best PG Oncology Institute qualifying round where the quiz moderators were Dr. Nitin Yashas and Dr. Hollis D’Souza.

On Day 2, Finale of each completion took place and winners were announced and awarded in the valedictory function.
