We can scroll for hours without thinking.

But sitting still for a few minutes feels uncomfortable.

That is boredom tolerance.

In this digital era, our brains are wired to seek constant stimulation.

Silence feels strange.
Stillness feels heavy.
But learning to sit with boredom is where calm begins.

Try it today.
5 minutes.
No phone.
Just you.

How long can you stay present?

Small chores today.
Strong, independent kids tomorrow.

Teaching basic tasks early helps children build confidence, problem-solving, and a sense of responsibility.

It’s not about perfection.
It’s about participation and progress.

Let them try.
Let them learn.
Let them grow.

Post-school meltdowns are more common than we think.

Kids hold in a lot through the day, and the moment they reach home, their emotions spill out.

It’s not ‘misbehaving’. It’s their way of saying they feel safe with you.

Stay patient. Stay connected. Gentle handling makes all the difference.

Respect isn’t promised with age.

It grows from empathy, integrity, and the way we speak to each other.

Every child feels it.
Every adult needs it.

Emotional trauma in children isn’t always about big events.

Sometimes it’s the absence of safety, connection and being truly seen.

With stable and caring adults, children heal. They really do.

Most patients don’t know why they’re taking a medicine or what their diagnosis even means.

That needs to change.

Being informed about your diagnosis and treatment plan isn’t questioning your doctor — it’s empowerment.

Ask. Understand. Participate.
Because taking care of your health starts with knowing what’s happening inside your body. 💬✨

Many teens ask me,
“Should I leave studies and start influencing or acting?”

Dreams are important.
But foundations are even more important.

The creators you admire didn’t “get lucky.”
They learned, they practiced, they studied their craft.

Education isn’t here to limit you.
It helps you understand the world, think better and make good choices.

So chase your dreams.
But build your base first.

Grow your skills.
Complete your studies.
Work on your craft side by side.

Because when your foundation is strong, you don’t just dream…
You build a life you’re proud of. 🌱

Not every child needs to be a topper.
But effort still matters.

When we say “Marks don’t matter” without balance, children may feel it’s okay not to try at all.

Consistently low performance is not about intelligence. It could be related to attention, stress, sleep, depression, or learning challenges.

Let’s support our children with encouragement, routine, and gentle guidance.

Not pressure. Not a comparison.
Just understanding and effort.

🎥 I recently spoke with TV5 Channel about an important topic — Psychiatric issues in children.

In this short clip, I’ve shared insights on how parents can identify early signs and support their child’s emotional well-being.

🧠 Every child deserves to be understood, not judged.

Low-stimulation shows can make such a difference — calmer kids, smoother transitions, and way less post-screen chaos 🌿

Here are a few gentle short films to start with:
✨ Lava
✨ Bao
✨ Piper
✨ The Snail and the Whale
✨ Zog
✨ A Joy Story
✨ Harmony (by ESMA)

Everyone’s talking about that child on KBC.

But here’s the thing — children on TV or social media aren’t mini-adults. They mimic, perform, and please — often trying to fit into what adults expect.

What we see as “attitude” or “overconfidence” might just be a child trying to belong.

Before judging, mocking, or dissecting a child’s behavior online — let’s remember: they’re still learning who they are.

Stop criticizing children for being children. The internet shouldn’t be their courtroom.

Most people seek help only when things fall apart.

But healing starts much earlier; when you choose to reach out before the crisis.

On this World Mental Health Day, let’s normalize asking for help early.
Your mind deserves care, not endurance. 💚
