Every other spine patient asks: ‘Can I eat sour foods? Can I add chutney to my samosas?’ Let’s be clear—there is absolutely no link between sour foods and spine problems. Eating lemons won’t worsen a disc bulge, and tamarind won’t compress your nerves.

🦴 Spine Surgery: Emergency vs Elective ⚠️

Not every spine problem is an emergency. 95% of surgeries are elective, planned for better outcomes. 🩺 Only 2-5% need urgent surgery, like cauda equina syndrome, where leg weakness, numbness, or bladder/bowel issues appear. 🚨

Elective surgery allows proper planning and safer recovery. ⏳ Know the difference, avoid panic, and consult your spine specialist for the right care. 💪🌟
