Dr Ashish Chhajed, is a leading Consultant Urologist & Surgeon, at Dhule. Dr Chhajed’s remarkable career in Medicine started in year 2000, when he got admission in M.B.B.S at Dr VM Medical College, Solapur. After the start he then completed his M.S ( Gen. Surgery) and got selected at the prestigious TN Medical College & Nair Hospital in Mumbai, for M.Ch ( Urology). Here he was trained and mentored in various aspects of Genitourinary surgery like Endourology, Urooncology, Female Urology , Paediatric urology , Laparoscopy & Renal Transplantation. He owes his mentors Dr Hemant Pathak & Dr Mukund Andankar in shaping his urology career. During his residency & training of 3 years he was active in research and did many paper presentations at zonal , national & international conferences. He was selected for WZUSICON travelling fellowship in 2013. After completing his residency & Asst Prof at Nair Hospital , he joined Bombay Hospital & Research Centre at Indore as Consultant Urologist. Society Internationale Urologia (SIU) awarded him a fellowship , where he attended San Giovanni Hospital , Rome , Italy as clinical research fellow in Uro-oncology, laparoscopy & Robotic Surgery. This international fellowship helped him immensely towards betterment of his practice for his patients. His current appointment is as Chief Urologist at City Urology and Superspeciality Hospital , Dhule. This is the first Hospital of North Maharashtra to be equipped with
Thulium Fibre Laser . He practices and operates all types of patients in General Urology, Endourology, kidney stone diseases, Prostate diseases, Female & Paediatric Urology. His special interest is in all the modern treatment modalities of Kidney stone diseases . He recently presented his work on minimal invasive percutaneous stone surgery ( PCNL) at World Congress of Endourology ( WCE 2016) at Cape Town, which was very well accepted and appreciated by the chair & esteemed senior international urology faculty. When free of his clinical & academic work he likes to relax with his books, son and family peacefully at home. He is a avid traveller, likes treks & exploring new places.
