This ultrasound image shows bladder sludge in a cat.

Bladder sludge is the collection of thick sediments, crystals, and inflammatory debris inside the urinary bladder.
Over time, this sludge can block the urinary passage and cause a life-threatening condition called urinary obstruction.

⚠️ Common signs in cats:
• Straining to urinate
• Frequent visits to the litter box
• Crying or discomfort while urinating
• Blood in urine
• Not passing urine at all (EMERGENCY)

💡 Why does this happen?
• Low water intake
• Dry food–only diet
• Stress
• Urinary infections or crystals

🩺 Early diagnosis saves lives.
Ultrasound and urine tests help detect this problem before it becomes an emergency.

🐱 Most Elegant Cat of the Night
• A graceful walk with your cat and pet parent
• No tricks required
• Judging based on elegance, grooming, confidence, and bonding

👗 Fancy Dress Competition (Dogs)
• Dogs must walk the ramp with their pet parents
• Costumes should follow a clear theme
• Judging based on creativity, theme presentation, confidence, and coordination between dog and handler
• This is a walk and presentation round, not a trick performance

🏅 Most Obedient Dog – (Tricks & Track by Dogs)
• Dogs will perform basic to advanced tricks
• Tracking and obedience skills will be demonstrated
• Judging based on intelligence, response to commands, and coordination
• Evaluation based on discipline, command response, calm behavior, and control

✨ Important Notes:
• Leash is compulsory for all dogs at all times
• All participants are requested to maintain calm handling of their pets
• Safety, comfort, and happiness of every animal is our top priority

Aane, a mother, walked into KM VETS with hope in her eyes and pain in her heart.
“Someone referred me here,” she said softly.

The patient was a quail bird, a precious gift from her son.
In an unfortunate incident, the quail was attacked by a hen, tearing the crop and almost the entire skin of the neck — a devastating injury for such a tiny life.

Local anaesthesia was applied and carefully maintained for 40 minutes.
Under it, in a calm and focused 15-minute procedure, we were able to perform the surgery peacefully. Every minute mattered. Every stitch carried hope.

This was not just a surgery.
It was a mother’s love, a child’s gift, and a reminder that even the smallest lives matter deeply.

At KM VETS, we don’t just treat animals — we honour the emotions attached to them. 🤍🐦
