Try to avoid consuming curd at night. because night is basically a Kapha predominant period. Thus consuming curd at night is best avoided according to Ayurveda. Curd also increases Pitta. Hence, taking it at night might cause problems related to indigestion.

For those accustomed to having curd at night, a pinch of pepper powder can be blended into the curd for consumption. However, it's crucial to be cautious with the amount to prevent a burning sensation. Alternatively, a touch of fenugreek powder could be added, offering the advantage of alleviating stomach discomfort caused by indigestion.

When considering a substitute for curd at night, buttermilk emerges as an excellent option. Not only does it help clear the channels but it also aids in reducing mucus secretion.
