We often talk about women empowerment. But what does it truly mean? Is it only about securing good jobs or achieving professional success?
Today, women are standing neck to neck with men and excelling in almost every field. We admire and praise their achievements, yet often fail to acknowledge the silent battles they fight in the background just to reach that table of equality.
Even when she excels in her professional life, she is constantly judged—about her duties as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, daughter-in-law, companion, and friend.
Is this really empowerment? Is this why we celebrate Women’s Day?
Are we celebrating the multitasking abilities that women are expected to carry every single day?
Pause and think.
Isn’t real empowerment simply about respect and understanding from both men and women around us? The willingness to stand by each other, the courage to support one another through failures, and most importantly, the joy of celebrating each other’s presence.
When this happens, real empowerment takes shape. It creates equal opportunity and space for every woman—whether she is a homemaker, industrialist, doctor, engineer, entrepreneur, yoga professional, teacher, or anything else.
Sometimes, all that is needed is simple understanding and self-realization.
So while the world celebrates Women’s Day, let us also celebrate every day of our existence, our presence, and the strength of being ourselves.
And do it with balance, awareness, and gratitude through Yoga 😊
