What are the useful contents which we can get from Chinese Potato ( koorka)

Chinese potato - koorka in Malayalam - is rich in nutrients and has high medicinal values. It is also a favourite food of Malayalis.
There are many tasty, local varieties of Chinese potato in Kerala. The climate and soil here are most suitable for its cultivation. The main varieties cultivated in Kerala are Nidhi, Sreedhara, and Suphala.

Chinese potato contains 20 per cent carbohydrates. Besides, it is a treasure trove of calcium, iron, riboflavin, niacin, and vitamin C.
Usually, vine cuttings of the plant are planted in the months from July to October. To collect the vines required for planting, seed tubers are to be planted first. Cow dung can be used as manure while planting seed tubers. Vine cuttings can be collected after three to four weeks of planting. Cuttings should be 15 cm long.

Now, prepare the land for planting the vines. Cow manure can be used in this period. Ridges should be prepared at a distance of 30 cm for planting the vines.

After planting, nitrogen and potash can be applied. To destroy elma pathogenic nematodes (nima vira in Malayalam) that attack the root, burn the plants completely after harvest.

പല കർഷകരും അവരുടെ കുടുംബവും പനി ബാധിച്ച് പലരും മരിച്ചു.

സവാള ഒരു പാത്രത്തിൽ ഇട്ടു വീട്ടിലെ എല്ലാ മുറികളിലും വെച്ചതായി കർഷകന്റെ ഭാര്യ മറുപടി നൽകി.ഡോക്ടർ അവരോട് ഉള്ളി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
മൈക്രോ സ്കോപ്പിന് കീഴിൽ വെച്ചപ്പോൾ ഉള്ളിയിൽ ഫ്ലൂ വൈറസ് കണ്ടെത്തി.ഉള്ളി എല്ലാ ബാക്ടീരിയകളെയും ആഗിരണം ചെയ്യുകയും,
അതുവഴി കുടുംബത്തെ ആരോഗ്യകരമായി നിലനിർത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.

ഉള്ളിയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള എന്റെ മുമ്പത്തെ അറിവിൽ നിന്ന്, ഒരു ഉള്ളി ഒരു ശൂന്യമായ പാത്രത്തിൽ ഇട്ടു കൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ രണ്ട് അറ്റങ്ങളും മുറിച്ചുമാറ്റി,രാത്രി മുഴുവൻ ആ പാത്രം എന്റെ അരികിൽ വെച്ചു.

രാവിലെ ഈ സവാള കറുത്തതായിത്തീരുന്നു,
അപ്പോൾ എനിക്ക് സുഖവും തോന്നിത്തുടങ്ങി'.

വയറ്റിൽ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളുണ്ടാകുമ്പോൾ എന്തിനെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തണമെന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അറിയില്ല.
ഒരുപക്ഷേ ഞങ്ങൾ നേരത്തെ കഴിച്ച ഉള്ളിയെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്താം.
