Demands to be submitted to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Assam Dispur, Guwahati by the Greater Lakhipur Action Forum are as follows;
1. The proposed offices of the S.D.O. (civil) Lakhipur, Court and Treasury etc. To be completed before the General Election 2014'
2. Upgrading (transforming) the Lakhipur Primary Health Centre to 200 bedded Civil Hospital with all the modem medical facilities'
3. To start the Lakhipur Treasury Office etc. at the constructing building of Municipality complex (Multi utility Building) at the opposite of Lakhipur P.S. with immediate effect.
4. To complete the incomplete works of bridges in martyr Nanda Chand Singha Link road and Lumfou Bridge over Chiri river before the General Election 2014.
5. Construction of triple lane road from Fulertal point to Nungfou (old Silchar - Manipur
6. To implement the urban water supply scheme immediately with regular supply of water twice a day .
7. Construction of a general Library in Municipality area.
8. Upholding the ledgering of crores of rupees as funds received time to time from state and central Gov from the year 2009 in connection with the various development works of
Lakhipur Municipality Board for the information of the public through the official website.
9. To complete the works of storm water drainage scheme mainly in 4, 5, and 6 number wards of Lakhipur town before the General Election 2014.
10. To implement the central Govt. scheme of inter - state Shipping corporation in Barak river centering Lakhipur town as river port'
11. Consecution of double lane roads from Dilkhoosh - Sonai and Binnakandi Ghat - Singerbond urgently.
12. Urgently plan and programme to resist the river erosion in Singerbond and Lakhipur by Barak liver and Rajargram by Chiri river'
13. To start the works of by pass road (N.H. No. 37) near Fulertal Bazaar urgently to reducing the traffic problem in Fulertal bazaar'
14. To regulate the traffic system at Fulerlal Tri- Junction by setup Traffic Police point.
15. proposed Recreation centre of Lakhipur Municipality board had to be constructed at the Municipality area, canceling the tender called vide No. LMB - 19A,1P.-C12010-11/354 for the same at G.P. area Pailapool'
16. Constructing urinals at Lakhipur and Fulertal bazaar.
17. Ensuring ASTC services from Lakhipur - Silchar and Jirighat - Silchar with immediate effect.
18. Declaration and conducting of CBI enquiry over profligating and corruption of funds sanctioned against various projects of Lakhipur Municipality Board by state and Central Govt. since the year 2009.
19. To re-regulate the Mobile Health Service Centre in Fulertal urgently.
20. To established Police out-post in South Barak area to ensure peace and tranquility and safe of life and property of the people.
21. To provide doctor and staff in Health Sub-Centre, Jirighat (Inter State Boarder area of Assam-Manipur) urgently.
22. To replace the old and damaged pipe of water supply scheme P.H.E. of Lakhipur Town Ward No. 5 immediately.
23. Pucca road to be constructed from N.H. 37 to Covenant English School under Lakhipur Town Ward No. 5 immediately.
24. Up gradation of Digar Fulertal State Dispensary Centre to Primary Health Centre and opening of newly Medical Sub-Centre , Tolengram with adequate staff and Doctor immediately.
25. To ensure supply of water in 50 houses connection of Tolengram locality by P.H.E. water supply plan, Tolengram immediately.
