Our Institution has state of the art infrastructure with well equipped laboratories, seminar halls, Auditorium, Digital Library with wi-fi -internet facility, Instrumentation room and other facilities. Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research is attached to Cauvery medical center, a 350 bedded corporate hospital for clinical training. Pharmacy is concerned with every aspect of drugs and medicines, their synthesis or isolation manufacture ,control, distribution and use

Pharmacy is the health profession and Pharmacists are healthcare professionals with specialised education and training who perform various roles to ensure optimal health outcomes for their patients through proper medication use. Pharmacists are also concerned with production of pharmaceutical products, development of the methods or processes of production and quality control. Those in research concern themselves with synthesis of new drugs (what is commonly referred to as New Molecular Entities -NME’s), new processes, clinical testing of the effects of such drugs on animals and humans, and obtaining the required license from the drug control authorities. A pharmacist is required to explain the mode and precautions regarding the use of medicines dispensed in a hospital pharmacy, prepare special formulations normally not available in the market, assist the physician inrendering necessary information about various drugs, their contra-indications, incompatibility etc
