Department of Physiotherapy, NRI General Hospital is established with a mission statement to provide rehabilitation services to the poor and needy.

Our aim is to rehabilitate people with special needs and integrate them back into the society as productive human beings. Department is equipped with all the latest rehabilitation tools available today. Here we treat cases with rehab needs from all medical specialities like Orthopaedics, Neurology, Neuro Surgery, General Medicine etc.. Acute care management includes respiratory physical therapy in ICU, Cardiac rehabilitation at NRI Heart Center and Burns Management at Burns ward. We also specialize in management of cases with rheumatological problems.Post surgical management and rehabilitation of joint replacement cases are considered one of the best at NRI Physio Center. Patients with replaced joints are rehabilitated and discharged in record time of 4 to 5 days, which is comparable to western standards. Attached to the department we have an 'Artificial Limb Center' which is fully equipped with all the latest machinery to manufacture different types of artificial limbs for amputated patients. We hope to spread our services to rural areas with an aim of preventing disabilities.
