Shubham being underweight kid around always wished of gaining weight. In the age of 22 years, seeing my transformation, he asked for my help for gaining some weight. 😇

He started training with me and I planned a good, manageable and affordable diet for him. I mainly focused on "Lean Gaining" for him, because weight can be gained in fat form too, which makes a person unhealthy, unfit, fat and loose physique and lethargic. This is my Client Roshni from Canade with some tough Vegetarian/ Lacto-Vegan food habit! 🥑🥗

It all started with n email conversation where she stated her health issues. Diet planning for her took time as I had to prescribe her few tests and study Canadian pattern of food and nutritional availability. But with limited food ingredients we managed to do this lovely transformation in 1 month and able to low down her PCOS symptoms. 😀

Furthermore, there has been rise in Obesity among children under 5 years of age with 33 states and union territories registering a spike in the number of overweight children.Not just children, obesity among women and men also increased.

Experts attributed the increase in obesity to lack of physical activity and unhealthy food habits.

Weight is just a number, increased body fat is the danger signal and primary signal of being unhealthy.

Body fat cells are spread over all of the body. And the places are genetically defined. When you start following the fat loss diet, your body start utilizing the stored body fat from all the places (containing fat cells) for energy. And starts normalizing the structure and disorders.

Are "Nutritional Supplements" Healthy? Do you really need it? Do they have any side effects? Can they be comsumed for longer periods?

This are the questions I usually get from my surroumdings when they see me consuming tablets!

Before my education in nutrition, I never used any extra thing. I had already lost weight, lost hair, my skin looked dull, my back used to hurt. When I started learning the diet course, I was educated about the dietary supplements. We had a whole topic on supplementation which solved my problems and also I was able to answer people's questions about supplements.

Yes, nutritional supplements are healthy. They are made according to improve your health and cover deficiencies. Each and every nutrient can be replaced in your diet with supplement, thanks to science. If you're consuming them adequately from your daily food. You don't need it. But if not, yes you'll have to consult a dietitian and get it added. If you buy poor brands, yes it can lead to side effects. They are not "medicinal drugs" but are extracted from food ingredients by different processes. (Eg. Vit C is extracted from Oranges & is shaped in form of tablet or capsule.) Some of them can be used continuously for longer periods but some should be used cause specific. The doses should be prescribed by doctor or dietitian.

Also, supplements are booster and should not lead to dependency.

From 98kgs to 76kgs in 1 year.

I was glad to know that I was the "First Nutritionist" he ever consulted in life. Because he never trusted in anyone else, he said. We all have bad diet experiences but this was his first experience and it became successful with his trust & hard work.

When I first checked Siddharth's complete blood test reports and lipid profilr, they were slightly abnormal. He told me he wanted to lose weight and bring his blood test reports on a normal levels.

With consistency for 1 year he followed the prescribed program with us. He was always curious to know " what's all in fitness" and how he can apply it in his life to keep himself fit. All this took time and everything was properly conveyed. And he ended with his desired results.
