How many times have you seriously considered settling down but left disappointed because your date was only interested in a casual fling? After working closely with the gay community and understanding their concerns in finding the right person, we decided to start Mr n Mr - first-of-its-kind gay matchmaking initiative. We realized that we don't have a clear road map or an
y milestones, like our straight friends. After coming to terms with our sexuality, we are stuck with the perennial question - what’s next? That’s the question we plan to address through Mr n Mr. Our focus is to bring structure in the community. Mr n Mr is a brainchild of a country-head of a large MNC bank, a research chief of a conglomerate and Umang Sheth. Umang is the founder of Gay Bombay and The Hugging Club India. He has helped thousands to get comfortable with their sexuality and empowered many to come out to their parents in the last 22 years. He started the first support group for parents of gays and lesbians in 1999. Our promise

We want you to find a gay life partner and fulfil all those wishes you have been dreaming of since childhood. How does it work? Unlike other popular dating apps where people meet for hook-ups, Mr n Mr is for desi gays who are serious about settling down. That's why we have specially designed a selection process to filter those who are not serious about relationships. The objective is to help you find the right life partner. Here's how it works:
Step 1: Registration
We will send you a registration form/link to fill in your details. You will have to fill out details about what kind of guy you want to spend the rest of your life with. We recommend you to be honest about your details as that will help us find the right person for you. To ensure credibility, we will need your identity proofs, recent pics and documents. Rest assured, these documents will strictly be used for verification purposes only. Step 2: Background Verification
We do thorough background verification of every member based on the documents they share to promote genuineness in the community. Step 3: Pre-relationship counselling
To ensure that you enter a relationship with the right frame of mind, we connect you to a leading psychiatrist or psychologist. We recommend you to be vulnerable and share your fears and doubts. We are mostly impatient and look for instant gratification on dating apps. Relationships need a different mindset. That’s why we have included counselling as a part of the selection process. Also, unlike heterosexuals, gay relationships are mostly fragile due to lack of family, legal and societal support. It can break easily due to the slightest trigger. Counselling equips you to manage the ups and downs in your gay relationship effectively. Step 4: Personal Interview
We want you to pour your heart out. As a part of the LGBTQ community, we understand what you are looking for when finding your Mr Right. Personal interview helps us find out what's mandatory, acceptable, and unacceptable for you in your relationship. It helps us to understand your expectations better. It enables us to zero in on a suitable match for you at the earliest. We will never judge you for what you say, that’s our promise to you!
