Vrkshasana(Tree Pose)is a balancing asana .It is one of very few standing poses in medieval hatha yoga.
• Benefits of the asana:-
-Improves balance and stability in the legs.
-Strengthens the ligaments and tendon of the feet.
-Assists the body in establishing pelvic stability.

Baddhakonasana (Butterfly pose)
the typical sitting positionof Indian cobblers when they work, and historically called Bhadrasana, is a seated asana in hatha yoga and modern yoga as exercise.

-It improves blood circulation in the lower body that is stalled due to long sitting hours.
-It provides relief from menstrual discomfort and issues due to menopause

According to Hindu mythology, the body of human beings is created from five basic elements (Air,Earth,Water,Fire and Space) and it is believed that when one dies, their body is transformed back in these elements and gets blended with the ecosystem.
These elements have a very strong connection with our body functions like:
The “Earth element” represents bones and muscles. The blood which is connective tissue and of vital importance is represented by the “water element” etc.
They not only play a major part in determining the quality of our daily lives, but when applied to our yoga practice, we gain the ability to connect better with Mother Nature, harnessing the meaningful characteristics of each within ourselves!

So Come join us, as for 5 days we practice Yoga that enhances the 5 elements in our bodies & helps us purify them 🧘

Today's topic is Mooladhara Chakra

The first chakra
▶️Mooladhara chakra (i.e root chakra )
is located at the floor of the perineum and the first three vertebrae .
🔻What it is ?
The root chakra is the foundation of a house, except for your body—when in balance it’s sturdy, stabilizing, and supportive. As such, it’s responsible for your sense of security and survival.
It’s also connected to whatever you use to ground yourself, including basic needs such as food, water, shelter, and safety, as well as your more emotional needs such as letting go of fear and feeling safe.
🔻When it’s blocked: A variety of ailments can occur from blockages,  including anxiety disorders, fears, or nightmares, Physically, the first chakra is associated with problems in the colon, with the bladder, with elimination, or with lower back, leg, or feet issues.

▶️Bija Mudra ( Seed Sound)
Would you like to know bout the (Bija Mudra) seed sound ?
The seed mantra syllable is लं laṃ. Within the bindu, the point that forms a part of the letter, is Brahma. He is deep red, with four faces and four arms, holding a staff, a sacred vase of nectar, and a japa mala, and making the gesture of dispelling fear.
The ( Tatva )Element associated with it :- Earth .

-How to practice Bija Mudra (seed sound) of root chakra ?
🔹Sit straight in padmasana( lotus pose) or cross legs position.
🔹Thumb & index fingers touch
🔹Arms straight hands on kness.
🔹Try to concentrate on the mooladhara chakra i.e root chakra between the ge****ls and the a**s.
🔹Chant the chakra sound

Mooladhara Chakra i.e( root chakra)🔴🧘
The first chakra
Here is the asana which activates the
mooldhara chakra ( i.e root chakra)

(also called as chair pose )
Utkata means intense or powerful
Asana means posture

🔸What is it & how it is practiced?
 Utkatasana is the name of a powerful standing yoga asana that requires balance, stability and strength. The arms extend upward alongside the ears, while the knees bend as if sitting on an imaginary chair. In addition to its physical benefits, utkatasana promotes focus, acceptance and inner power.

🔸Benefits of the asana :-
- Strengthening of the hips .
- Deep stretch to the upper body
-Joints of the knees and the ankles get toned and strong
-The entire leg gets the stretch making it strong.
-Improves the stamina and immune system.

🔸PreCaution:- Any kind of Injury or pain legs ( specially knees) ankles, abdomen ,back refrain from practicing this asana and should be practiced under the guidance of a professional teacher.
