I came to Mumbai six months back and joined Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital with the aim of establishing a Neurointervention Centre. I feel so honoured to have received this award along with Dr Arun Shah. I highly appreciate the support given to me by Reliance Foundation Hospital, which has made this possible. Looking forward to my journey in Mumbai ahead.

Delightful time in Chicago, went around with Nainika, with walks along river, in gardens… visited Univ of Illinois Urbana-Campaign, great campus with ice skating ring. Three of us revived our memories of skating together in Gurgaon ..

Nainika is joining Univ of Chicago, where she will be doing Masters in “Precision Health using AI”. Makes me happy as well as proud that she will get a chance to work in cutting-edge fields! It is great to be here in US with her, to be part of her journey. Also enjoying the open spaces and greenery in and around the institution.

It has been four months since I shifted to Mumbai. I have enjoyed so much, the sea, breeze, sunsets, walking …. And of course cricket :)
It has come as a pleasant surprise that I have become comfortable here in such a short time… says a lot about the vibe of the city.

I personally wanted to study physics or mathematics and dreamed of university with large green spaces . However, surprisingly did medicine and became Neurointerventionist! Now he can live my dream :)

At my daughter Nainika’s convocation ceremony at Palaksha University in Chandigarh, with her receiving B.Tech in Biological Systems Engineering. It made me incredibly proud, especially with her securing internships and scholarships at prestigious institutes such as IIT Mumbai, IISC Bengaluru, and Tsinghua University in Beijing. Terrific ceremony with an inspiring speech from Dr Narayanan (ISRO) and ending with a Bhangra dance 😀

We had treated an AVM patient who had come in comatose with a massive bleed due to AVMs. Thankfully, he recovered almost completely. The family manages an NGO that cares for around 100 children. The message and card were sent by the kids! When we treat a patient, we may impact many more lives around them.
