विज्ञान प्रदर्शनात ‘समस्या व उपाय’ या थीमवर आधारित १३० प्रयोगांचे सादरीकरण
मुंबई माता बाल संगोपन संस्थेचा उपक्रम उत्साहात संपन्न
मुंबई माता बाल संगोपन संस्थेच्या वतीने आज भव्य विज्ञान प्रदर्शनाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. संस्थेचे मानद सचिव डॉ. माधव साठे यांच्या संकल्पनेतून गेल्या अनेक वर्षांपासून हा उपक्रम सातत्याने मोठ्या उत्साहात राबवला जात आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोन विकसित करणे तसेच समाजातील विविध समस्या ओळखून त्यावर शास्त्रीय व व्यवहार्य उपाय सुचवणारे भावी शास्त्रज्ञ घडवणे, हा या विज्ञान प्रदर्शनामागील प्रमुख उद्देश आहे.
यावर्षी विज्ञान प्रदर्शनासाठी ‘समस्या व उपाय’ ही अत्यंत समर्पक व सामाजिक भान जागवणारी थीम ठेवण्यात आली होती. या थीमनुसार पाणीटंचाई, प्रदूषण, ऊर्जा बचत, आरोग्य, कचरा व्यवस्थापन, वाहतूक, शेती व पर्यावरण यांसारख्या विषयांवर आधारित एकूण १३० नाविन्यपूर्ण प्रयोगांचे सादरीकरण विद्यार्थ्यांनी केले. प्रत्येक प्रयोगामध्ये समस्या स्पष्ट करून त्यावर शास्त्रीय व व्यवहार्य उपाय मांडण्यात आले, ज्यामुळे उपस्थितांची विशेष दाद मिळाली.
संस्थेच्या प्रांगणात आयोजित या कार्यक्रमासाठी प्रमुख पाहुण्या डॉ. पवार उपस्थित होत्या. विज्ञान प्रदर्शनाचे परीक्षण शीतल चासकर, सुप्रिया चकाते, तनुजा चव्हाण, अश्विनी देवकर, पल्लवी कुरडले, प्रथमेश वेव्हाळे व आदेश बोऱ्हाडे यांनी केले.

कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन मनीषा सुर्वे यांनी केले, तर वर्षा पवार यांनी आभार प्रदर्शन केले. संपूर्ण कार्यक्रमाचे नियोजन शर्मिला सांडभोर यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली मुंबई माता बाल संगोपन संस्थेच्या माता-बाल सर्व टीमने उत्कृष्टरीत्या करून विज्ञान प्रदर्शन यशस्वीपणे पार पाडले.
या विज्ञान प्रदर्शनामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांच्या कल्पकतेला चालना मिळून समाजोपयोगी संशोधनाची दृष्टी विकसित होत असल्याचे मत उपस्थित मान्यवरांनी व्यक्त केले.

दिनांक 5 मे 2025 ते 10 मे 2025 रोजी मुंबई माता बाल संगोपन केंद्र, राजगुरूनगर- पुणे यांच्या वतीने दत्तात्रय वारे गुरुजी यांचं प्रशिक्षण आयोजित केल होते. या प्रशिक्षणात अंकुर प्रकल्पच्या वतीने आम्ही सहभागी झालो होतो. प्रशिक्षणादरम्यान लोकसहभागातून शाळेचा विकास साधने व अध्यापन कौशल्याची नवनवीन पद्धती शिकण्यास मिळाल्या.
प्रशिक्षणातुन पेण -(रायगड) ला एक प्रचंड ऊर्जास्रोत घेऊन आलो आणि कामाला सुरुवात केली.

* चित्राच्या माध्यमातून मुळाक्षरे शिकवितांना कळलं की, मुलांच्या अक्षरे सहज लक्षात राहतात.. मुलांच्या लक्षात राहिलीलेली अक्षर आता लिहायला शिकवायचं होत ते दृढीकरणाच्या ऍक्टिव्हिटी मधून आणखीन सोपं झाल.

* वर्गातल्या मित्रांच्या नावाचा वापर करून जोडाक्षरे शिकविणे हा प्रयोग तर विद्यार्थ्यांना खुप आवडला.

* शाळेतील सगळ्याचं मुलांना सगळं शिकवावं हा सरांचा आग्रह होता म्हणून आम्ही गोष्ट सादरीकरण, भाषण सदरीकारण, गीत गायन, विज्ञान प्रयोग, खेळ या ऍक्टिव्हिटी सर्वसामावेशक घेतो.

* विषय मित्र ही संकल्पना सुद्धा शिक्षकास किती पूरक आहे याचा प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव घेता आलं. विषय मित्राच result पाहून आम्ही यावर्शी काही शाळेत निवडणूक प्रक्रिया घेऊन मंत्रिमंडल स्थापन केले व हे मत्रिमंडळ ऍक्टिव्ह केले. आता शाळेत हेच मत्रिमंडळ बारिचशी जबाबदारी पार पाडत आहेत.

* सरांचे शाळेतील उपक्रमाच्या प्रेरणा घेत आम्ही देखील अंकुर प्रकल्पतील शाळांमध्ये बचत बँक सुरु केली आहे. या बँकेमध्ये मुल रोज पैसे टाकून पैसे साठवत आहेत. आठवड्यातील एक वार हा हिंदी दिवस म्हणून साजरा करत आहोत यादिवशी मुल हिंदी मध्ये बोलतात. जिथे पाणी आहे तिथे शाळेची बाग बनवत आहोत.

* आम्ही आदिवासी मुलांना अगदी प्रामाणिक कृतियुक्त शिक्षणातून शिकवत होतो पण सर्व एज्युकेटर्स चा जो उत्साह वाढला तो आपण आयोजित केलेल्या प्रशिक्षणात सहभागी होऊन.

Rural Development, Reimagined: The BMCWS Way
From aid to agency. From problems to possibilities.

When social science meets grassroots innovation, a powerful story unfolds — the Rural Development Programme (RDP) by Bombay Mothers and Children Welfare Society (BMCWS).

We design everything—from menstrual health sessions to mobile computer vans — to be inclusive and relatable. S*x education involves parents too, encouraging safe, open conversations at home.

One compost session or five fruit trees can begin a wave of change.When economic gain is part of the solution, communities join in wholeheartedly.These tiny acts connect to form a larger fabric of transformation.

Each new livelihood project comes with training, starter kits, and one year of hand-holding.We blend into the community, work shoulder-to-shoulder, and build bonds of trust — not hierarchy.

On 1/3/2025, the work of the ongoing Anemia Project in the villages of Bhorgiri, Wadekarwadi, and Barapati was completed. A total of 262 women were screened, and 65 women were provided with treatment and guidance for anemia. On the last follow-up day, it felt really good to hear the wonderful feedback given by the patients. The responses received from them give us a sense of accomplishment, and through this, the respect they have for the work of the organization is expressed.

मराठी भाषा गौरव दिन हा दरवर्षी 27 फेब्रुवारी रोजी महाराष्ट्राचे ज्येष्ठ कवी विष्णू वामन शिरवाडकर उर्फ कुसुमाग्रज यांच्या जन्मदिवशी साजरा करण्यात येतो. कुसुमाग्रजांनी मराठी भाषा ही ज्ञानभाषा होण्यासाठी अथक परिश्रम घेतले मराठी भाषेला अभिजात भाषेचा दर्जा 3 ऑक्टोबर 2024 रोजी पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली देण्यात आला. इंग्रजीचे आक्रमण आणि जागतिकीकरणाच्या झंजावातात मराठी भाषा आणि संस्कृती नष्ट होण्याची भीती सातत्याने व्यक्त केली जाते. तसेच इंग्रजी शाळांचे वाढते प्रमाण, पालकांवर असणारा इंग्रजीचा प्रभाव, मुलांना इंग्रजी शाळेतच घालण्याचा अट्टाहास पाहता मराठी शाळा ओस पडतील की काय असे वाटत असतानाच आपल्या खेड तालुक्यातील स्थिती पाहता मराठी शाळेंना विविध सुविधायुक्त ( ई larning, मैदाने, खेळाची साधने) बनविल्यास मराठी शाळेंविषयी मुलांची व पालकांची आस्था वाढताना दिसत आहे आज डॉक्टर, इंजिनिअर, वकील असणारे पालक इंग्रजी शाळा न निवडता मराठी शाळेत मुलांना टाकताना दिसत आहेत. याचे मुख्य कारण म्हणजे शाळेंमध्ये सोयी सुविधांमध्ये वाढ आणि शिक्षणाचा उंचावलेला दर्जा हेच आहे. खेड तालुक्यात यावर्षी मराठी शाळेत जाणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांची संख्या मागील वर्षाच्या तुलनेत जवळजवळ 2000 ने वाढलेली दिसत आहे. गेली तीन वर्षात सुधा असाच आनंददाई फरक दिसला आहे.त्यामुळे मराठी भाषा मराठी संस्कृती आणि मराठी शाळा कधीच लोप पावणार नाहीत हे ही आकडेवारी सांगते.
