Here’s a glimpse of our newly renovated Bengaluru office at Lady Curzon Road! Thoughtfully redesigned with modern workstations, a spacious conference room, and a bright welcoming pantry, the workspace reflects our commitment to productivity, collaboration, and growth. Inaugurated by our Pravin Gharlute, VP & Head - HR, we were delighted to host our customers and dealer partners at the office, who appreciated the fresh new look.

Our annual R&R awards 'Bharat ke Ratn SuperStars' was held this week to celebrate exceptional achievers of FY 24-25. Executive Director, Shome Danani, set the tone for the event by sharing macroeconomic insights and our roadmap for a high-paced year ahead. Head of HR, Pravin Gharlute reflected on the theme ‘Superheroes’ expanding on what it means to be one in the corporate environment, and urged everyone to find their ‘North Star’. Divisional VPs highlighted the winners’ achievements, which was followed by their felicitation. Congratulations Suraj More, Utpal Patel, Hardik Babariya, Yathish Veerabhadrayya and Mahesh Patil! Your outstanding contributions have led to our collective growth.

Loved being part of the heart-warming 'Gratitude Tree' activity with the adolescents in our CSR program. Our 25 BB volunteers teamed up with bright young minds from NMMC School No.55 in Airoli, sparking creativity, conversations, and plenty of gratitude. Together with Magic Bus, we’re empowering 3,500 students in Airoli with essential life skills. Here’s to many more inspiring moments ahead!

Guess what we spotted during a recent visit to JSW JFE Electrical Steel’s Nashik plant? Two of our 16/20 MVA, 220/11 kV power transformers manufactured way back in 1995! Originally supplied to Raymond Steel, these transformers have been silently powering through for 30 years. Here’s to engineering and quality that stands the test of time!

- Until late 1990s, we had an active Sports Club at our Kalwa factory and the BB cricket team proudly represented us in the Times Shield tournament, one of Asia’s oldest corporate cricket championships! By the early 1980s, thanks to the dedication of players like Hemant Kulkarni, A. K. Kulkarni, V. D. Sadhle, and many others across our divisions, BB had built a formidable team that played with passion and unity. Their memorable performances, including century-marked innings and major wins, remain part of our rich legacy of teamwork and sportsmanship. Several BB-ites even went on to become certified BCA umpires, officiating in Times Shield matches at venues like Wankhede Stadium! Earlier this month, our HR team and Employee Welfare Committee celebrated the academic achievements of employees’ children through a Merit Awards felicitation. Over 100 students were recognised for their excellence, with special prizes for top performers. The day also featured engaging sessions for parents and students on career guidance and family engagement by our HR team, followed by a community lunch. An inspiring day of celebrating learning and growth.

We celebrated Independence Day 2025 with a fun drawing competition for BB-ites’ children (Std. 1–7). Over 80 kids participated, cheered on by 250 family members! The little artists showcased their creativity while parents interacted over games like housie. Prizes were awarded to the top six entries, and all children were felicitated for their efforts. Our Nitin Rathod, Sr. GM – HR, addressed the gathering on the importance of family (including our happy BB Parivar!), education, and discipline in shaping a child’s future. A truly memorable day of art, fun, and togetherness.

As part of our CSR initiative, we donated an anaesthesia machine with monitors to Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa to strengthen surgical services at their operation theatres. The machine was inaugurated last week by our Ramachandran Nair (Head - Audit), in the presence of Dr Rakesh Barot (Dean), Dr Vijay Patil (Head of Anaesthesia), and other representatives from the hospital and BB. We hope this contribution enhances patient care and recovery in the communities we serve.
