Play for Peace Mumbai Club works for Children, Adults & in community using Play, arts & experiential education.Learn Leadership,Capacity building.Works for Women in Destitute/Short Stay home,Girls & Women inTrafficking,Children in need for care/Protection PFP Mumbai club (a group of volunteers) works with vulnerable children and communities using Play and Arts. The club does weekly Practice Peace Sessions along with other community service projects in Mumbai. The club also use other effective methods while working with children such as clay, paint, play, paper, waste, stories, poems, dance, music, yoga, and the power of creative visualization. Play for Peace is a process of community building. Rather than being an event or program, we use global partnerships and cooperative play to promote relationships among people whose communities suffer from a history of cross-cultural tensions. Archana Magar is an experiential educator working in the field of Experiential Education through Play for the past four years. In the capacity of a trainer, she is associated with PLAY (Peace Leadership And Young people) and Global Learning Community at Play For Peace http://www.playforpeace.org/. Play for Peace mission is to bring children, youth and organizations together from communities in conflict using cooperative play to create laughter, compassion and peace. In India, Mumbai Archana works with organizations and schools to promote Child Rights, Inclusive Education, Capacity building, Zero Violence and Playful Teaching Techniques for marginalized communities through trainings and workshops.

On the occasion of 14th November, Children’s Day in India, Play for Peace Mumbai club organised event in collaboration with Family Court Mumbai, Bandra. Children enjoyed Playscape platform and play session. We thank all litigants and parents, honourable Family court Judges, counsellors, TISS project coordinator and legal staff. Thank you Play for Peace Global team for support and providing platform.

1. Thank you Archana and Neelu mam, it's really very innovative platform you introduce to us for having fun and happiness. All children also enjoyed this fun and have awareness about Child rights.
2. Thank you so much for your patience and willingness to conduct the session by considering our limitations and protocols.

Past four months has been a learning process of designing, developing, creating content and activities for five different age groups, doing lots of trials and errors, experiments on ourselves, sharing and feedbacks on countless Gchat/WhatsApp meets brought a great satisfactions and impactful response from our all participants of different age groups. Today we had our forth TOT program with RFIT groups of volunteers from Mumbai and suburbs.

Our Story

“Play plays an essential part of healing oneself from the inside and opening oneself to the world.” Play for Peace Mumbai Club is based in Mumbai, India. PFP Mumbai club works with children and in communities using Play for Peace process. The club conducts monthly Practice Peace Sessions along with other community service projects and organizations working for children in Mumbai. The club also conducts various experiential learning process such as play, art and dance therapeutic sessions along with s*x education and gender awareness programs. Play for Peace is a process of community building. Rather than being an event or program, we use global partnerships and cooperative play to promote relationships among people whose communities suffer from a history of cross-cultural tensions. Play for Peace Mumbai Club: Is open space for everyone who wants to experience the joy of play.

About Facilitator:

Neelu Grover has successfully facilitated many youth and students camps, corporate team-building programs, teacher training and mom/kid camps. Through play, she helps participants forget all barriers and bond together as friends. Her specialty lies in creative thinking, team-building and life skills. Her quest to gain more out of life and her admiration for kids inspires her to work towards the cause of sharing an innovative education culture. Her particular interests include TRACE (Training in creative expression) and promoting a s*x education program for adolescents, parents and teachers called ASSET (Advocating Safe S*x Education Together). She is associated with many organizations in addition to Play for Peace including; ASEEMA , RFIT, The Foundation.
