Cancer Screening Camp was successfully conducted on 1st December 2024 at Air India colony, Santacruz East, Mumbai. More than 100 people were screened. The camp was attended by 45 females and 55 males and a total of 11 suspects were found. These suspects will be escorted to Tata Memorial for further investigation. The team of doctor had Dr. Kishore Vasvani, Physician (MS), Dr. Michelle Fonsceca, Gynec , Dr. Neena Gynec and ENT surgeon Dr. Kisan.

We are proud to have successfully conducted a Cancer Screening and medical Camp on 1st December 2024 at Air India Colony, Santacruz East, Mumbai. 100 people were screened (45 females and 55 males )and 11 suspects were found. Cancer awareness camp was conducted in Mira Road East, Thane district in association with Sankalp Apang Seva Sanstha and Gyan Yog Education Trust on September 28th, 2024.

The speaker was Arpita Chakraborty, a Medical social worker (MSW) from Preventive Oncology department at Tata Memorial Hospital. She gave very useful information about breast cancer, cervical cancer and oral cancer. 60 women participated and were sensitised about all three types of cancer and how important is the regular health checkup , once you cross 40 years of age. The awareness was created about Early detection is the ONLY cure to cancer.

Life wins Foundation conducted cancer awareness session on August 22nd , 2024 in the red light area of Turbhe in association with Sahaara Charitable Society . 40 CSWs attended the session and were given information on Cervical cancer , Breast cancer and Oral cancer.

Ms Kiran Shinde from TMH , Preventive Oncology department conducted the session and explained how early detection can save lives. It was a very informative sessions and we saw good participation from community.

Life Wins Foundation organised an awareness session on oral, breast, and cervical cancer for approximately 30 women today on 31st July 2024 Jawahar Nagar Khar East Mumbai.

Arpita Chakraborty from Tata Memorial Hospital Preventive Oncology department conducted the session and explained the importance of early detection in cervical, breast and oral cancer and how early detection can save lives. It was a very informative sessions and we saw good participation from community.

We at Life Wins Foundation conducted an awareness session for oral , breast and cervical cancer at St. Andrews International School and Jr. college, Akurli Village, Panvel on April 13th, 2024. The session was conducted for the female teachers of the school. LWF organised mobilisation with the key person who is the teacher of the school. Women were also briefed about procedures of the screening of oral , breast and cervical cancer. The session was conducted by MSW Ms. Kiran Shinde from Preventive Oncology Department of Tata Memorial Hospital. Total 57 women attended the session.

We at Life Wins Foundation conducted an awareness session for oral , breast and cervical cancer at Karunya Trust, Shivaji Nagar, Govandi on February 29th, 2024. The session was conducted for women of the underprivileged section of the society. LWF organised mobilisation meetings in communities and audio visual presentation was given. Women were also briefed about procedures of the screening of oral , breast and cervical cancer. The session was conducted by MSW Ms. Kiran Shinde from Preventive Oncology Department of Tata Memorial Hospital. Total around 85 women attended the session.
